Welcome to 6th Grade Science!

Hello! My name is Mr. Lekan, and I’m excited to begin my 25th year at Revere and my 27th year in education. I earned my undergraduate degree from Cleveland State University with a concentration in science and later earned my master’s degree in Educational Technology from Cleveland State. Most recently, I taught Financial Literacy and Coding at the middle school, and I’m very excited to now have the opportunity to teach 6th grade science!

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Carolyn, and our family. We love skiing, spending time outdoors, and traveling. We are have lived in Richfield since 2003 and really enjoy all this area has to offer. We are all huge Buckeye's fans and enjoy attending as many games as possible!  We have two sons, Drew and Adam. Drew was a 2024 graduate of Revere High School and is studying at The Ohio State University and is working toward becoming a Certified Public Accountant. Adam is a Revere High School senior and is studying to become a commercial electrician at CVCC. Our family also includes Dory, our rescue dog, who keeps us entertained and is definitely an important part of the family! I’m looking forward to an exciting year and can’t wait to share my enthusiasm for science with my students.
