Nonlocal conservation laws are gaining interest due to their wide range of applications in modeling real world phenomena such as crowd dynamics and trafficflow. In this talk, we discuss a class of nonlocal balance laws with memory, where a temporal convolution kernel is introduced in addition to the spatial kernel to model memory effects. The talk has two main objectives. First, we present the notion of entropy solution for this class of problems and study uniqueness and stability with respect to the initial data and flux parameters. Second, we investigate finite volume approximations for these models and present numerical experiments that support the theoretical findings.
