The Ramanujan Mathematical Society (RMS) was founded in 1985 with the ostensible purpose of promoting mathematics at all levels. With this in view, the Society had been conducting major national and international conferences. In addition, the Society had organized several regional programs which include Outreach Programs to train P.G. and Ph.D. scholars to face NET, SLET and other competitive exams with greater confidence, Outreach Programs for undergraduate students, compact courses for PG students etc. Through its four publications- Journal of the Ramanujan Mathematical Society, Lecture Notes Series, Collected works series and the Mathematics Newsletter sponsored by the National Board for Higher Mathematics, the Society is doing its best for the spread of mathematics at different levels.
The 41st Annual Conference of the Ramanujan Mathematical Society is hosted by the Department of Mathematics, Manipal Institute of Technology Bengaluru in collaboration with the Ramanujan Mathematical Society during 02 July - 05 July 2026. The main objective of the conference is to focus on converging the eminent experts in all branches of mathematics to a common platform. The 41st Annual Conference of RMS welcomes contributions related to all traditional as well as modern areas of mathematics. The academic program of the conference consists of a series of Plenary and Invited talks, a Public Lecture, and group discussions by young researchers with experts in all areas of Pure and Applied Mathematics.

MAHE is proud to open its doors in the bustling cosmopolitan IT hub of Bengaluru by establishing its new engineering campus: MIT Bengaluru. It is offering five B Tech programs starting from 2021, with approval from the All-India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), MHRD, Government of India. The five approved programs are Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, Computer Science and Engineering – Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Science and Engineering – Cyber Security; MAHE has been recognized as a deemed-to-be university since 1993 and has been accorded the status of Institute of Eminence (IoE) by MHRD, Government of India. Admission to MIT Bengaluru is based on a computer-based online entrance test, MET, conducted by the MAHE.
