Students of the Associate Degree in Applied Science (Bioscience) and Diploma of Laboratory Technology (Pathology Testing stream or Biotechnology stream) programs at RMIT University are required to complete an industry work placement of a minimum 10 days (can be up to 30 days) as part of their vocational learning development.
The duration of the placement may be arranged in a way that best suits both student and employer. It may be that the student works for 10 days full-time, or one day per week for several months, or so on. We are willing to accept any arrangement that fulfils the min 10 day requirement.
