For my Honors Contract the Spring semester of my sophomore year, I made a podcast about the relation to organic chemistry and forensics.
The summer of 2025 I spent my time interning at the Illinois State Police Crime Lab in Morton, IL to gain hands-on experience in the career field I wish to pursue.
For my Honors Contract the Fall semester of my senior year, I completed a PowerPoint presentation on ketamine and its relation to forensic testing and its dangerous affects on society.
My research on forensic interships found across the nation was one of my capstones I completed for the forensic program I'm which includes a spreadsheet of 100+ internships found in the United States and a "How To" guide on how to search for internships in the forensic field. It is accessible to all forensic students at IU Indianapolis as a resource. In addition, I made this part of my Honors Contract for the Fall semester of my junior year by submitting a speech on what I did and how it aids to students and the forensic program.
