Western Visayas Regional Physical Framework Plan 2025-2055
In-Person (with Live-in option)
RDC Hall, DEPDev Regional Office VI, Iloilo City
June 4, 2025 (Wednesday) to June 5, 2025 (Friday)
The Regional Physical Framework Plan 2025-2055 will serve as critical reference for regional development, guiding spatial configuration and landscape planning, while informing sectoral strategies and impactful policy decisions.
As part of the ongoing process, updating the plan is necessary to address challenges brought by the shift in the region’s major economic drivers, passage of new laws and policies including creation of the Negros Island Region, COVID-19, climate change, rapid urbanization and other factors that significantly impact land and natural resource use. Additionally, this update aims to formulate spatial strategies and a framework that promote sustainable and resilient regional development.Â
