The Challenge is back again this year
"Round the Round" Challenge this year which will begin in the spring (now!) and end in the fall. Enjoy being part of a community challenge by going the equivalent of the distance around Round Lake. Any person-propelled method, such as running, walking, cycling, kayaking, canoeing, and swimming, are acceptable.
The total distance is 29 km and should be done by the Thanksgiving weekend. Encourage your neighbours and family to get out there and push that fitness level all the way around the Lake. Keep in mind the Ontario Public Health guidelines about social distancing.
The distance can be completed all at once, or in segments that add up to 29 km. You can also do it as a group, with each completing a segment that adds up to the total distance.
Those individuals or groups completing the distance will be acknowledged on the Round Lake Property Owners' Association website and on the Friends of the Round Lake Association Facebook page.
Once completing Round the Round 2022 send your name, or the name of your group, plus any pictures, to RoundtheRoundChallenge@gmail.com.
