Lakshmi Narayan Ramasubramanian completed his B. Tech. in Metallurgical and Materials Science Engineering at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur, in India in 2008 and received his PhD from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 2014. He joined Carnegie Mellon University as a Postdoctoral Fellow in April 2015. During this time (2015-2017) he was also a visiting scientist in Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China. In August 2018, he received the Gopalakrishnan-NTU Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and worked with the Singapore Centre for 3D printing (SC3DP). He joined the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, IIT Delhi in August 2019 as an Assistant Professor and is currently serving as Associate Professor.

Dr. Ashwani Kumar’s research is focused on the synthesis, characterization and mechanical properties estimation of ODS (oxide dispersion strengthened) ferritic steels, duplex stainless steels and studying the tribological behavior of additively manufactured metal matrix composites. Currently, he is working on the mechanical behavior of super 304H steel and additively manufactured Al-Sc alloys. He completed his B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from UPTU, Lucknow in 2012, followed by M. Tech. in Materials Science from IIT Kanpur in 2015. He obtained his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from IIT Kanpur in March 2023. He joined the Department of Materials Science and Engineering (DMSE), IIT Delhi as Postdoctoral researcher in October 2023.

J. Vigneshwaran's research is focused on the preparation of complex metal oxides, activated carbon and 2D material synthesis, fabrication of electrodes, and electrolyte preparation for energy storage devices. Currently, he is working on the MXene and MXene-based polymer/metal oxide heterostructure electrodes for asymmetric supercapacitor coin cell or cylindrical cell assembly. He completed his Master of Physics from PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore in 2014 and also received his MPhil in nanoscience and technology from PSG Institute of Advanced Studies, Coimbatore in 2016. He defended his Ph.D. in July 2024 at Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, Tamilnadu and is a Research Fellow the Department of Materials Science and Engineering (DMSE), IIT Delhi since December 2023.
Ashwani has done B.tech in Mechanical Engineering from UPTU and then worked for the Industrial and Teaching sector. He joined the Department of Material Science and Engineering, IIT Delhi as a Research Scholar. He is working on the structural and mechanical properties of Additive manufactured maraging steels
Amey has completed his bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, and pursued his master's in Materials Technology from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal. He joined the Department of Material Science and Engineering, IIT Delhi, in December 2020 as a Ph.D. research scholar. His research project involves a study on the mechanical behavior of additively manufactured alloys for aerospace application.

Pooja Sahu is currently working as a senior scientist at CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar, and has joined the Department of Material Science and Engineering, IIT Delhi as a part-time Ph.D. research scholar. She is a post-graduate with M.tech- Metallurgical & Materials Engg. (silver medalist) from IIT Kharagpur, 2014; and had graduated with B.tech- Metallurgical Engg. from NIT Raipur, 2012. She has working experience in the domain of extractive metallurgy and has also, briefly worked as a patent analyst, prior to joining IIT Delhi.
Simran Nath completed her MTech in Materials Engineering from IISc Bangalore and her BTech in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from NIT Srinagar. She joined the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, IIT Delhi, in December 2022 as a Ph.D. research scholar. She is working on the microstructural and mechanical properties of TiN and La2O3 reinforced 4043 Al-Si alloy via Wire-arc additive manufacturing.
Karthik Kumar completed his B.Tech. from NIT Puducherry and his M.S. (R) from IIT Delhi. He is currently working on the development of high-strength novel Al alloys under the joint supervision of Prof. Jayant Jain.
Akash completed his B.Tech. in Metallurgical and Materials Science Engineering at National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India in 2023 and is pursuing his PhD from Department of Materials Science and Engineering, IIT Delhi from January 2024. For his B.Tech thesis, he designed Ni-based microlattice structures that can be additively manufactured and used for manufacturing gas turbine blades that are used in aerospace industries. His research area involves study on the mechanical behavior of additively manufactured alloys for aerospace application.

Sukmaji Indro Cahyono completed his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering department, Faculty of Engineering at Diponegoro University. He received his master’s degree in engineering from Pukyong National University, South Korea. He was a member of the research and development division of the Kangnam Solar.Ltd in Changwon, South Korea. His research was structural design and testing for polymer solar collectors and ultrasonic welding on selective coated bimetal material for solar absorption. Currently, he has been working in the mechanical engineering department, Faculty of Engineering, at Sebelas Maret University and continues his study in the doctorate program Gadjah Mada University. He has affiliation research as a member of the Center for Innovation of Medical Equipment and Devices (CIMEDs). His research interests are solid mechanics, additive manufacturing, and 3D printing technology, and he works under the joint supervision of Profs. Muslim Mahardika and Budi Arifvianto
