Artifacts on this page demonstrate my ability to evaluate technologies and how they can be used to develop exciting and engaging lessons.
Indicator 1: Evaluates current and emerging technologies and uses appropriate technologies to accomplish professional and instructional tasks.
Artifact 10, linked below, was created in my EDF 520 course. Throughout the course, we made a list of resources that pertained to what we were studying that could be useful as educators. This assignment required web searches to locate and evaluate the websites.
Artifact 11 was also created in my CIEC 635 course. For this assignment, we were asked to evaluate different types of search engines and terms used to find information relevant to a specific topic. This artifact demonstrates my ability to use more specific search terms when researching issues and determining the results' significance.
Artifact 12, created in EDF 619, consists of a video I made during a group project on Theories of Development. Each group member created a slide on various sections and recorded their voice talking about the slide. Once we completed the slides, I pulled them together and created a presentation video. This artifact demonstrates my proficiency in using PowerPoint and editing and making videos.

Artifact 13 was created for my CISP 510 course. It is a lesson plan for a high school financial algebra class centered around the stock market. Schools can participate in a yearly stock market game. This lesson creates accounts for students to play the game and provides them with "funds" to buy and sell stocks using real-time data from the stock market.
