Benjamin (Ben) Riviere is an Assistant Professor at NYU with a dual appointment in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the Tandon School of Engineering and the Department of Computer Science at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. 

Ben was previously a postdoctoral researcher with Joel Burdick and Yisong Yue at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). He received his M.S. and Ph.D. at Caltech in Aeronautics advised by Soon-Jo Chung and his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
