Scamp was the 9th best cat in agility in the Southern Region for the 2014-2015 show season off of 2 runs. We were quite surprised when we were told that a photo was needed, he was getting an award. In 2015-2016 he was the 2nd best cat in Agility for the Southern Region and 6th best Nationally. In 2016-2017 he was 2nd best Nationally and #1 in Region 7. For the 2017-2018 show season he is the Best cat both Nationally and in the Southern Region. He is also the first cat in CFA Agility to accumulate more than 20,000 points in their career. He is a Grand Premier and his best finish in the Region was 30th. Since he decided that he really did not enjoy showing we concentrated on his agility. Please stop by to see him as a Pet Me cat any time we are at a show. His goal in life is to convince everyone that they would like to be owned by and Ocicat. Scamp's littermate Rascal is also an accomplished show cat .
Rascal will always be super special. He was our first Grand, our first Region Winner, our first National Winner, and our first Grand of Distinction. Rascal was a Region Winner in the 2015-2016 show season, a repeat Region Winner and a National Winner in 2016-2017, and earned enough points competing for his Grand of Distinction to get a third Region Win in 2017-2018. He and his littermate Scamp are the first cats that we showed seriously. Not only is he an accomplished show cat but he has also been successful in Agility finishing 4th in 2015-2016, 3rd in 2016-2017, and 3rd in 2017-2018. As he has gotten older he has started to enjoy interacting with visitors at shows.
Foxy has been a delight and a challenge to show. As a kitten in the 2016 - 2017 show season he was a Region Winner in Region 3. For the 2017 - 2018 show season Foxy was the 5th best Premier in Region 7 as well as the 19th best Premier nationally giving him a National Win. He followed that up with a Region Winn in 2018-2019 as he is working on his rings to earn Grand Premier of Distinction. Like Rascal he is a multitalented cat and was also the 2nd best cat Nationally in Agility which also earned him Regional honors. He followed that up with an 8th place Nationally in limited runs. In the 2019-2020 show season Foxy completed his Grand of Distinction. There truly is nothing left for this amazing boy to do as a show cat! He now enjoys coming with me to shows as a Pet Me cat and going through his repetoire of tricks that he has learned.
Mooner is an Agility specialist. In the 2016-2017 show season she was the Best cat in Agility in Region 3 and was the Best cat in the Country. She will continue to run occasionally in between raising litters of future Agility champions to continue her legacy. For 2018-2019 Mooner has 3 of her offspring in the top 10 Nationally in Agility. She is no longer with us, she went back to her breeder in Colorado.
Loki has truly been a do it all cat to show. He earned a RW as a kitten. Then he quickly earned his Grand Premier and enough points to also earn a RW in Premiership, all before turning a year old. Loki had a bad scare but still earned a Region Win in Premiership. He is 2/3 of the way to earning his Grand of Distinction. Sadly we were never able to show him again.
Boo is our first homebred. He is our first homebred Grand. He is our first everything with a cat that was born in our house. He is a RW in Premiership and has followed in his mother's footsteps as the top cat Nationally in Agility. His mom gave him some very big shoes to fill and he has done the job admirably.
Bikini is SPECIAL! We knew she was when she was born. She just keeps amazing us with what she is accomplishing, all the while being a cute little mess that is into everything. Showing her was really an afterthought. We brought her out to get her Champion title, she did very well. We decided to see if she could grand. She did the weekend that she turned 9 months. She kept on doing well and is the highest scoring Ocicat in Championship in Region 7. She also managed to earn enough points to finish in the top 10 Nationally in Agility. Bikini will be bred in the fall, we hope she continues the tradition with her offspring. In the 2019-2020 show season Bikini continued her winning ways. She was the Best Ocicat in Championship in Region 7, 2nd Best Chocolate Ocicat in the Country, and 3rd Best Ocicat in the Country. She earned a Region Win in Championship in Region 7 and was the #2 Cat in Agility, both in Region 7 and Nationally. She could have beaten her brother but was on the shelf to be bred. Bikini now has 6 future agility champions that she is raising.
Pirate may be the most special cat that we have bred so far. He is a littermate of Bikini and a phenomenal cat in his own right. He was scratched in the eye as a tiny baby and, in spite of all treatment developed an ulcer that ruptured. He had surgery on the eye just before turning 8 weeks old which preserved some vision. He was not able to be shown as an Ocicat but we tried him in agility and he LOVED it. We decided to try him in the Household Pet division at the recommendation of several judges. He always had something to say and be came well known for his commentary on everything as well as his response of RAAAAAAA when asked What does a Pirate say? He also became know as a toy thief, judges quickly learned to only show him toys that they didn't mind him stealing. He also was one of the most consistent cats that I have ever run in agility. When the 2019-2020 show season ended in March he was the 10th best Household Pet in the country, 3rd best in Region 7, and the best cat in the country in Agility. The #2 cat was his sister Bikini.
Smuggs is a neat cat as was quite fun to show. He earned a Region Win as a kitten and was on track to earn one in Premiership when the show season came to a halt in mid-March. Smuggs also ran agility and he did get his National Win in agility in spite of himself. He is now a spoiled pet in his forever home.
Goose was my baby. He showed like a dream, his very first show involved flying to Houston. He was born to be a show cat. His kitten career lasted just over 2 months. In that time he became a dependable agility kitten and earned enough points for a kitten Region Win. Goose is a 2 show grand at the beginning of a very competitive 2020-2021 show season. He has maintained his lovely disposition while showing and he has sired his first litter, 6 lovely babies. He will earn a second Regional Win as an adult and still loves to show.
Annie is a homebred. Her mother was a National #1 in Agility. Her father was the #1 cat in agility for 2019-2020, RiverSpots Pirate. She has done well in the show ring as well, she was 3/4 of the way to completing her Grand Championship when the show season came to an end so she was bred. We hope to complete her show career in the future, between litters. In the meantime, she followed in the footsteps of her parents and is also a National Winner in Agility.
