Many thanks to Sherry Campbell for trusting us to adopt this beautiful boy. He is the one that got us hooked on Ocicats. Showing was not his thing, traveling was. Before he went to the Rainbow Bridge in 2014 he traveled with us all over the Southern United States.
Rascal (the chocolate) and Scamp (the cinnamon) became our much loved pair that we got from Mike Wagner in Nov. 2014. From these two boys we have learned just how consistent the disposition of the Ocicat is. They got us hooked on both showing and agility but when all is said and done they are our much loved house pets. My heart cat as a child was a red tabby, I had another red tabby after we were married. Then Tarot captured my heart. With Scamp I have a spotted, red cat again. Thank you Mike!
"Goodnight Sweet Prince", on Monday, July 22, 2024 we had to tell Scamp goodnight for the last time due to kidney failure combined with probable bladder cancer.
Foxy came to us from Sue Riley of WildTracks Ocicats so that we could have a chance to really have fun showing. He has taught me just how little I knew. At the same time it has been so rewarding to see him come out of his shell and really show himself. Most people see the show Foxy, a somewhat shy, suspicious guy. The Foxy in the photo to the right is the guy we have at home or in the motel room . He is really quite the goofball. As he has gotten older he has learned some "tricks" and loves to show off to visitors if he happens to be with me at a show.
Boo is the first kitten that we bred. He is the son of Mooner and was born in Pete's lap. He decided that showing was not his thing after earning a Regional Win. He earned the title of Agility Grand Master while still competing in the kitten class, having had 4 runs under 8 seconds on a full size agility course. Boo's time of 7.17 was the fastest time ever run on a full size course until 2024. He followed his mother as the number 1 cat in Agility.
Goose is a homebred. He was a kitten Regional Winner in the Covid shortened 2019-2020 show season with his last kitten show coming at 6 1/2 months old. He was nearly 16 months old when he finally got to return to shows as an open Champion in a very competitive Cotton States. He did very well and finished his Grand Champion at his next show. Goose continued his show career as a neuter and earned his Grand Premier as well as having earned his Grand Champion of Distinction.
My beautiful Mac. Mas is a dark chocolate silver son of Annie and Dynamicat DarkVader of Natallkatz. He is super sweet and outgoing at home but he always was looking for the bogeyman in the showhall. Add to that the fact that he always was showing with Goose and he took a little time to earn his GC title. He has sired 2 litters for us, both are very nice. He is neutered and may be seen back in the show hall showing in Premiership.
Mowgli as he is called is our import from Poland. We thank Lipokoty Ocicats so much for trusting us with this lovely, sweet, handsome boy. He has been shown lightly and done well. His kittens are beautiful and have the sweetest dispositions. His baseline HCM scans are clear and all of his genetic testing is clear. He brings a great deal of genetic diversity to our show program. His offspring are doing well in the Show Hall, he already has 6 Grands from his first few litters and should earn his Distinguised Merit award.
