We only have 6 sites to rent overnight this year. Most sites are seasonal in 2025. Overnight sites are more likely to be open during the week with fewer people here if you can arrange your schedule for that.
All sites have water and electric (30 amp service, we DON'T have sites with 50 amp service) Note: You will need an adapter that fits a single household plug. Most people have one or we can loan you one if you let us know. Again only 30 amp service is available at our campground and use adapter.
We Do Not have Sewer Hookups, but we do have a dump station.
Restrooms are available with hot water showers. Please help us keep them clean. Let us know if there is a problem. We check often to clean and stock.
We still provide firewood with site fee, but we ask that people be conservative. Bring some starter wood. (It may be a service we will have to discontinue in the future.) We accept donations.
Site size is approximately: 30 feet wide and 50 feet long to the river. Sites are on the riverbank.
There are grassy sites available with mature trees to provide you both shade and some sun.
Most sites are parallel to each other along the river.
Picnic tables and fire rings are on sites.
Flexibility on setting tents and moving tables.
Pets are allowed, but we do ask you to keep them leashed, clean up after them, and that they don't disturb other campers in any way.
Check in/ out at noon. There is some flexibility with that. 4pm would be the latest under any circumstance.
32 feet is our limit on camper size, 30 feet if you are a seasonal camper.
PLEASE CALL ASAP IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL! WE HAVE TO TURN MANY PEOPLE AWAY, AND PEOPLE NEGLECTING TO CANCEL CREATES MANY PROBLEMS. AND COSTS US INCOME. IT ONLY TAKES A MINUTE!!!

Please register and Pay at Kite's Store when you arrive .
Tent(s) on Site: $40 a night / $230 per week
Camper/Pop-up/Motor Home/Etc.
$50 per night / $290 per week
Rates are for up to 4 people on Site
Additional people are $4 per night
No charge if they are younger than school age.
Rates include Water, Electric, Air Conditioning , and Firewood. This rate also includes 5.3% state and 10% county lodging tax.
**Page Co. raised lodging tax another 5% on 7/1/24. That is why our rates went up, but all taxes (15.3%)-- are included in our rates.
One week limit on stays/ 6 people limit per site.
Not set up for credit card transactions. Cash Preferred. We will take a check with Proper Identification.
We have had such nice people stay with us over the years, both on a seasonal basis and just for the weekend. It's one of the main reasons we continue to operate. Most of our guests are friends who care about others, help us take care of things, keep the property clean and respect those around them. They do their part to maintain a beautiful and quiet setting here along the river for everyone. Without everyone's help over the years, we would not have stayed open as long as we have. We sincerely appreciate our campers' desire to help us. We hope that those who stay just a night or many seasons have fond memories of their time here along the river. The campground is a mere extension of this small community of Newport where my family has spent most of our lives. River time is precious time!
