River Falls Public Montessori Elementary (RFPME) is excited to introduce its FIRST LEGO League (FLL) club, a dynamic program designed to inspire creativity and cultivate STEM skills among students. This initiative empowers young learners to explore real-world challenges by building and programming LEGO robots while developing teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
The league will meet weekly, offering a hands-on, collaborative environment where students can innovate, experiment, and tackle engaging challenges. Participants will work in teams to develop solutions to themed missions, culminating in a friendly competition to showcase their creations.
The LEGO League aligns with RFPME’s commitment to hands-on, experiential learning. Through this program, students will gain valuable experience in science, technology, engineering, and math while embracing perseverance, collaboration, and the Montessori principles of curiosity and self-directed learning.
