RoboCats at State Competition 2026

The River Falls Robotics team (Team 9149, the RoboCats) had a solid performance in the 2026 season, ranking 10th out of 34 teams in the FIRST Wisconsin district after the state championship.

While they did not advance to the FIRST Championship (Worlds), their performance across the season's events demonstrated consistency and leadership on the field.

2026 State Championship PerformanceAt the FIRST Wisconsin State Championship in Brookfield, the RoboCats ended their official 2026 play with a total of 78 district points.

Season Highlights

The team showed strong competitive standing in their qualifying district events leading up to the state competition:

Seven Rivers District Event: Team 9149 ranked 10th out of 34 teams. They served as the Captain of Alliance 6 and reached the second round of the double-elimination playoff bracket.

Lakeland District Event: They ranked 12th out of 33 teams and served as the Captain of Alliance 8, again competing through the second round of the playoffs.

Since their rookie year in 2023, they have consistently improved their standing within the Wisconsin district.
