River Falls, July 15, 2024 – The River Falls Robotics Booster Club (RFRBC), a new non-profit organization, was officially launched on May 28, 2024, aiming to support and promote youth robotics programs in the community. The club, which seeks to provide resources, mentorship, and funding, will help students engage in hands-on STEM experiences, including competitive robotics events and educational camps. STEM stands for “science, technology, engineering and mathematics.”
“We're thrilled to create more opportunities for local students interested in robotics and STEM education,” said a RFBC President Carie Statz. “Our goal is to foster a passion for technology and innovation.”
Through partnerships and community support, the club hopes to ensure that students of all backgrounds have access to robotics education and can participate in programs without financial barriers.
