Join or Donate to River Falls Robotics Club!
RIVER FALLS, WI — Interfacial, a leading materials science company based right here in River Falls, has just announced a generous $5,000 donation to the River Falls Robotics Group.
This donation is a huge win for local students. The River Falls Robotics Group includes teams from the elementary, middle, and high school levels. These students spend their free time building, programming, and competing with robots. It is a place where young minds learn how to solve tough problems and work together as a team.
Why This Matters Robotics isn’t just about playing with machines. It teaches students "STEM" skills—Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. These are the same skills that professionals at Interfacial use every day to create new materials and 3D printing technologies.
By giving this gift, Interfacial is helping to make sure that every student who wants to join robotics has the chance to do so. The money will help the group buy new robot kits, pay for competition entry fees, and travel to events across the region.
Investing in Local Talent Interfacial has always been a proud supporter of our community. The company’s leadership, including founders Jeff and Kristi Cernohous, believe in the power of education. They know that today’s robotics students are tomorrow’s engineers and innovators.
“We are so excited to support these talented kids,” a representative from Interfacial shared. “They are the future of our industry, and we want to help them succeed.”
A Bright Future Ahead The River Falls Robotics Booster Club is already putting the funds to work. With this extra support, the teams can focus on what they do best: building amazing robots and representing River Falls with pride.
If you see a robotics student or an Interfacial employee around town, be sure to give them a high-five! It’s great to see local businesses and schools working together to build a brighter future for everyone.
