RF Robotics Team Presents to the River Falls Rotary Club

Robotics and Lego clubs are growing in the River Falls School District.

The first week in October, the RFHS Robotics Club presented at a River Falls Wisconsin Rotary Club meeting. The River Falls Robocats explained to the Rotary Club how the club encourages all students to participate, since the teams are divided into four groups: Media, Mechanical, Electrical, and Programming. These teams all work behind the scenes to get the robot ready for competition.

At the beginning of the 2024-2025 School year, the River Falls Robotics clubs have 34 high school students on the RoboCats Team, two full LEGO teams of 10 students each at Westside Elementary, and the Meyer Middle School has a new robotics Lego Club. 

The teams are now supported through the newly created River Falls Robotics Booster Club (RFRBC).

"We can find a spot on the team for anybody with any skill set," said RFHS teacher and Robotics Advisor Ryan Brill.
