River Falls Robotics Booster Club Raises Over $1,500 at American Legion Chicken Fry Fundraiser

March 1, 2025 – The River Falls Robotics Booster Club held a successful fundraiser at the River Falls American Legion Chicken Fry on Saturday, March 1, 2025, raising over $1,500 to support robotics and STEM education in the River Falls School District. The event, held from 4-7 p.m., saw tremendous community participation and generosity.

Students, along with their family and friends, volunteered their time to help prepare food, bus tables, and ensure the event ran smoothly. The dedication of these volunteers played a crucial role in the fundraiser's success, demonstrating the power of teamwork and community spirit.

The Booster Club sold advanced tickets leading up to the event and collected additional donations on the day of the chicken fry. The funds raised will directly benefit local robotics programs, helping students in elementary, middle, and high school gain hands-on experience in STEM fields.

"We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support from our community and the hard work of our student volunteers and their families," said Booster Club President Carie Statz.
