Calling all aspiring engineers and tech-wizards in grades 3-7! Are you ready to put your building skills to the ultimate test? This summer, we are cranking up the energy with Extreme Robotics: BattleBots, an action-packed camp where creativity meets competition.
On Friday, June 12, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, students will dive into the world of mechanical engineering and coding. This isn't just about snapping bricks together—it’s about strategy, physics, and innovation.
Participants will work in teams to design and construct their very own LEGO robots. Using advanced sensors and motors, students will learn to program their bots to navigate obstacles, solve puzzles, and—most importantly—prepare for the arena! Throughout the day, teams will face off in daily challenges designed to test their robot’s durability, speed, and intelligence.
The "extreme" nature of robot combat requires plenty of fuel! Since this is a full-day session, please make sure to:
Pack a lunch to keep your energy up.
Bring plenty of beverages to stay hydrated during the heat of competition.
Whether you are a seasoned LEGO pro or a first-time programmer, this camp offers a high-energy environment to learn new skills and make new friends. It’s the perfect way to kick off the summer with hands-on STEM learning that feels more like a sport than a classroom.
Ready to enter the arena? Spaces fill up fast, so don't wait until the last minute!
