The Lion's Roar isn't the only publication at Newton South High School. 

In the olden days, The Lion's Roar was an insurgent paper, founded in retaliation to the tyranny of the establishment media: Denebola. After years of fighting that nearly tore South apart, the two publications reached a deal. The Lion's Roar would rule the print world, while Denebola was relegated to an entirely online presence. To maintain this delicate peace, The Roar has greatly limited online presence:

In all honesty, my online role is small one: I've delegated most tasks to our incredible social media and podcast managers. I just make sure the accounts stay secure and the equipment is up to snuff.
