TERMS OF SERVICE RightNow — Last updated: May 2026

1. Acceptance By using RightNow you agree to these terms. If you are under 13, do not use this app. By creating an account you confirm you are at least 13 years of age.

2. Emergency Disclaimer RightNow is a community information platform and is NOT an emergency service. Always call 911 in a life-threatening emergency. Do not rely solely on RightNow during an emergency situation. Resource information is community-reported and may not be accurate.

3. Your Account You are responsible for keeping your account secure. You must provide accurate information when registering. You may not impersonate another person or create accounts for others without permission.

4. User Content You own content you post. By posting you grant RightNow a non-exclusive license to display it within the app. You agree not to post false, harmful, or misleading information. Emergency resource information must be accurate to the best of your knowledge. By posting an update you confirm the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms.

5. Verified Status Verification badges are granted at our discretion. We may revoke verification at any time. Misrepresenting yourself to obtain verification including falsely claiming to be a first responder, government official, or community organization may result in immediate account termination. Verified badges indicate self-reported status. RightNow does not independently verify credentials. Do not rely solely on verified status when making emergency decisions.

6. Business Listings Business verification indicates the business owner has claimed this listing. RightNow does not endorse or guarantee the quality, availability, or accuracy of any listed business. Hours and availability are community-reported and may not be accurate. Always call ahead to confirm.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Monthly and Yearly Subscriptions:

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period

• You may cancel at any time through your Google Play or Apple App Store subscription settings

• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued

• A 7-day free trial is available for new subscribers. You will not be charged until the trial ends. Cancel anytime during the trial at no cost.

Lifetime Membership:

• Lifetime memberships are a one-time purchase granting permanent access to verified member features

• Lifetime memberships are final and non-refundable after 48 hours of purchase

• By purchasing a lifetime membership you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy

• RightNow reserves the right to modify or discontinue features but will make reasonable efforts to honor lifetime membership benefits

General:

• All prices are in USD

• RightNow reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers

• Memberships are non-transferable and tied to the registered account

• Refund requests outside of Google Play or Apple App Store policies should be directed to help@therightnowapp.com

8. Prohibited Conduct

• Posting false emergency information

• Impersonating first responders, government officials, or community organizations

• Harassment of other users

• Attempting to access other users' accounts

• Using the app for any unlawful purpose

• Scraping or collecting user data without permission

9. Disclaimers RightNow is a community platform. We do not guarantee the accuracy of resource information posted by users. In an emergency always contact official emergency services (911). RightNow is not a substitute for emergency services.

10. Limitation of Liability RightNow and RightNow App LLC are not liable for damages arising from use of the app, reliance on community-posted information, or any interruption of service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

11. Termination We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

12. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States.

13. Changes to Terms We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via push notification.
