3. Data Storage Your data is stored securely using Supabase on servers located in the United States. We do not sell your data to third parties under any circumstances.
4. Location Data Location is used only to find nearby resources and filter community content to your city. We do not store your precise location history. Location is never shared with other users without your consent.

6. Push Notifications We send push notifications for mentions, replies, verification approvals, and emergency alerts. You can disable notifications at any time in your profile settings or device settings.
7. Your Rights
You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings
Account deletion removes all your data from our servers including posts, updates, and personal information
You may request a copy of your data by emailing help@therightnowapp.com
You may opt out of push notifications at any time
8. California Residents (CCPA) California residents have the right to know what personal data we collect, request deletion, and opt out of data sales. We do not sell personal data. To exercise your rights contact jesse@therightnowapp.com.
9. EU Users (GDPR) For EU users, your data controller is RightNow App LLC, Bluffton SC USA. You have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your data. Contact jesse@therightnowapp.com for all data requests.
10. Children's Privacy (COPPA) RightNow is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has created an account, contact us at help@therightnowapp.com and we will delete the account and all data within 48 hours.

11. Data Retention We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.
12. Security We use industry standard security measures including encrypted password storage and secure HTTPS connections. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
13. Changes to This Policy We may update this policy at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via push notification. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
