Downer Ave. & 23rd St.

Due to high traffic volume and speed on 23rd St, walking across the street is challenging.

This project proposes a new pedestrian crosswalk on 23rd Street at Downer Avenue. To shorten the crossing distance and increase driver awareness, curb extensions and either a RRFB, pedestrian signal, or HAWK beacon will be installed

This intersection is located in the Belding Woods and the North and East neighborhood council districts.
