Herschel Bullen Jr. was born Nov 13, 1870 in Richmond to Herschel Sr. and Emma Boston Gibbs Bullen. Herschel is a Pioneer of Richmond. Hershel served many callings, such as politician, president, professor, senator, and businessman.
Herschel attended Brigham Young College, University of Deseret (U of U), and Gem City Business College in Quincy, Illinois.1
Herschel taught in the Business Department of Brigham Young College.
Herschel was awarded an LL. D (Doctor of Law) degree from USU in 1964.
Herschel served in many government responsibilities, such as General Savings and Loan Assn., Cache Valley Broadcasting Co., Utah Savings and Loan Board and Utah Association of Real Estate Boards, President of the Logan City Board of Education, and USU Board of Trustees member.
Bullen Hall Dormitory, located on USU Campus is named in honor of Herschel.
Herschel served as a member of the Utah State Senate for many years, starting in 1909.
Herschel Bullen Jr. died Feb 2, 1966 in Logan, Utah. He was buried in the Logan, Utah Cemetery.
