Here came a drastic change in his life when he met with a wandering Dervish; Shams of Tabriz. The Dervish helped him opening the inner eye of his heart, and he became a Sufi.
-Mawlana transformed from a dry philosopher to most-loving person, as he opened his doors of heart and doors of courtyard for each from righteous scholars to a wrongdoer beggar

-Ribat-e-Rumi is created in the memory of Mawlana. Ribat means Khaniqah, the place of Sufi's gathering and character reformation.
