Terms & Conditions
Last updated: March 24, 2026
By downloading or using the RhythMic app, these terms will automatically apply to you — you should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the app.
You're not allowed to copy or modify the app, any part of the app, or our trademarks in any way. You're not allowed to attempt to extract the source code of the app, and you also shouldn't try to translate the app into other languages or make derivative versions. The app itself, and all the trademarks, copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to it, still belong to Mohammad Ghassan Sulaiman.
Mohammad Ghassan Sulaiman is committed to ensuring that the app is as useful and efficient as possible. For that reason, we reserve the right to make changes to the app or to charge for its services, at any time and for any reason. We will never charge you for the app or its services without making it very clear to you exactly what you're paying for.
RhythMic offers optional one-time in-app purchases to unlock premium features. These are non-subscription, lifetime purchases — you pay once and receive all current and future premium features. All transactions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Prices are displayed in your local currency before purchase. You may restore previously purchased premium access on any device signed into the same Apple ID by using the "Restore Purchases" option within the app.
From time to time, RhythMic may present promotional discount offers on premium pricing. These offers are optional, may vary by user, and can be changed or withdrawn at any time without notice. The availability and timing of discount offers may be managed remotely.
It's your responsibility to keep your phone and access to the app secure. We therefore recommend that you do not jailbreak or root your phone, which is the process of removing software restrictions and limitations imposed by the official operating system of your device. It could make your phone vulnerable to malware, viruses, or malicious programs, compromise your phone's security features, and it could mean that the RhythMic app won't work properly or at all.
RhythMic requires microphone access to analyze ambient sound and sync visual effects to music. By granting microphone permission, you acknowledge that the app will process audio in real time on your device. No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted. You may revoke microphone access at any time through your device's Settings, though this will disable sound-reactive features. The app also offers a "without microphone" mode that provides auto-animated visual effects.
RhythMic's multi-phone sync feature uses Apple's MultipeerConnectivity framework to connect devices over local Wi-Fi or peer-to-peer networks. By using this feature, you consent to your device name being visible to nearby devices running RhythMic. The host device controls the sync session and may disconnect participants at any time. We are not responsible for network connectivity issues, sync delays, or interruptions caused by local network conditions.
If you use RhythMic with an Apple Watch, visual sync data is sent between your iPhone and paired Apple Watch. The Apple Watch companion app requires a paired iPhone running RhythMic to function.
RhythMic can use your device's camera flash LED as a strobe light synced to audio. This feature includes built-in safety limits (automatic shutoff and frequency caps). Despite these safeguards, strobe effects may potentially affect individuals who are sensitive to flashing lights. Use this feature at your own discretion. Mohammad Ghassan Sulaiman is not liable for any discomfort or adverse effects caused by the use of strobe or flashing light features.
RhythMic displays rapidly flashing colors and lights that may not be suitable for people with photosensitive epilepsy or similar conditions. If you or anyone in your household has a history of seizures or epilepsy, consult a physician before using the app. Use at your own risk.
The app uses third-party services that have their own Terms and Conditions:
Firebase (Google) — for analytics and remote configuration
Apple Standard EULA — for App Store and in-app purchases
With respect to Mohammad Ghassan Sulaiman's responsibility for your use of the app, when you're using the app, it's important to bear in mind that although we endeavor to ensure that it is updated and correct at all times, we do rely on third parties to provide information to us so that we can make it available to you. Mohammad Ghassan Sulaiman accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, you experience as a result of relying wholly on this functionality of the app.
At some point, we may wish to update the app. The app is currently available on iOS — the requirements for the system may change, and you'll need to download the updates if you want to keep using the app. Mohammad Ghassan Sulaiman does not promise that the app will always be updated to be relevant to you and/or work with the iOS version that you have installed on your device. However, you promise to always accept updates to the application when offered to you.
We may also wish to stop providing the app, and may terminate use of it at any time without giving notice of termination to you. Unless we tell you otherwise, upon any termination: (a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end; (b) you must stop using the app, and (if needed) delete it from your device.
We may update our Terms and Conditions from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
If you have any questions or suggestions about these Terms and Conditions, do not hesitate to contact us at Rhythmic@mgsulaiman.com.
