Mohammad Ghassan Sulaiman built the RhythMic app as a Commercial app. This SERVICE is provided by Mohammad Ghassan Sulaiman and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use my Service.

If you choose to use my Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that I collect is used for providing and improving the Service. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, I may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that I request will be retained on your device and is not collected by me in any way.

The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Third-party service providers used by the app:

• Firebase Analytics — used to measure anonymous usage patterns and interactions within the app.

• Firebase Remote Config — used to deliver feature configurations remotely. No personal data is collected; only anonymous instance identifiers are used to deliver configuration values.

Microphone Access

RhythMic uses your device's microphone to analyze ambient sound in real time and sync visual effects to the music around you. Audio is processed entirely on your device using real-time frequency analysis (FFT). No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted. All audio processing happens locally on your phone. When you stop a session, microphone access stops immediately.

Multi-Phone Sync (MultipeerConnectivity)

RhythMic offers a feature to sync visual effects across multiple iPhones over a local Wi-Fi or peer-to-peer network using Apple's MultipeerConnectivity framework. This feature:

• Only transmits visual synchronization data (beat intensity and color values) between connected devices.

• Works over local network only — no data is sent to the internet.

• Does not collect, store, or share any personal information from connected devices.

• Device names shown during discovery are the names set by each device owner in their iOS Settings.

Apple Watch Sync

RhythMic can sync visual effects to a paired Apple Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. Only visual data (colors and beat intensity) is sent between your iPhone and Apple Watch. No personal data is collected or transmitted externally.

Camera / Flashlight

RhythMic can use your device's camera flash LED as a beat-synced strobe light. The app accesses the camera hardware solely to control the flashlight — no photos or videos are captured, and no camera data is recorded or stored.

Screen Recording Detection

RhythMic detects when screen recording is active on your device to optimize the visual display. This detection is performed locally using Apple's system APIs. The app does not record your screen and does not collect any information about your screen recording activity.

In-App Purchases

RhythMic offers one-time (non-subscription) in-app purchases to unlock premium features. All purchase transactions are processed securely by Apple through the App Store. I do not collect or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID.

Data Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device using UserDefaults and is never transmitted:

• Your app preferences and settings

• Custom color palettes you create

• Premium purchase status

• Anonymous usage counters (e.g., number of times a screen was viewed)

Children's Privacy

This Service does not address anyone under the age of 4. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. The app does not require any account creation or personal information to function.

Security

RhythMic does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All audio processing, visual rendering, and local network sync happen entirely on your device without any outside communications. Your privacy and data security are important, and the app is designed to function fully offline.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
