Tryout Do's and Dont's

• Be on time 

• Dress appropriately for cheerleading activities and secure hair away from the face, preferably wear a bow. RULE AT THE BOTTOM!

• Students are not allowed to wear jewelry of any kind- necklaces, rings, earrings, nose-rings, bracelets, anklets, belly-ring, etc. RULE AT THE BOTTOM!

• Students are not allowed to participate with fingernails over GHSA regulation.  RULE AT THE BOTTOM!

• Everyone must wear solid black shorts and solid white top for the actual tryout March 29th.

• Please be picked up on time each day of tryouts.

• Try-out clinic and tryouts are closed sessions and will be enforced all season.

• No one is guaranteed a spot on any team – even if you were on the team before. Stay positive and remember the entire week is a tryout.

• SMILE

• Make your motions sharp & clean

• Be confident 

• Yell loud

• Dont stress

• If you mess up, keep going or ask for a redo

• Have a great attitude!

RULES:

• Fingernails, including artificial nails, must be kept short, near the end of the fingers. This rule
  applies to all cheerleading and dance squads whether they are stunting or not.

• Hair must be worn in a manner that is appropriate for the activity involved. 

• Piercings, jewelry, and glitter are all prohibited by both the National Federation and the GHSA. This rule applies to all cheerleaders in all situations in Georgia.
