ABOUT

 이주형은 대한민국의 시각예술가이자 한남대학교의 교수이다. '불안'이나 '모호'같은 인간 의 심리를 표현하는 작업을 하고 있다.  주요 전시로는 2010년의 개인전 '공리적풍경 (성곡미술관)', 2025년의 개인전 '50 cm (갤러리초이)'등을 말 할수 있다. 2010년에 '내일의 작가상'을 수상하였으며, 주요작품소장처로는 63스카이아트미술관, 대전시립미술관, 미술은행(국립현대미술관), 성곡미술관, 양주장욱진미술관 등이 있다. 또한 공공 소장은 아니지만, 매우 중요한 작업을 갖고 있는 소수의 개인 소장가가 있다. 1974년에 태어났으며, 세종시에서 살면서 작업하고 있다.

 Rhee Joohyeong is a visual artist, painter, and professor at Hannam University in South Korea. His work expresses human psychology such as 'anxiety' and 'ambiguity'. He held exhibitions such as 'Undefined Scene (Sungkok Art Museum)' in 2010 and '50 cm (Gallery Choi)' in 2025. He won the 'Tomorrow's Artist Award' in 2010, and his works were collected in 63 Sky Art Museum, Daejeon Museum of Art, Art Bank(National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art), Sungkok Art Museum, Chang Ucchin Museum of Art, etc. And there are also a few private collectors who have very important Joohyeong's works. Born in 1974, lives and works in Sejong City.
