On May 9th, 2023 the River Hill’s Diversity Association was formed with the goal of building an accepting community that supports and celebrates the multitude of cultures, ranging from Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and faith based groups, represented in our school. Through each year we have worked in various forms to host cultural events and highlight groups within our school.

Two years ago, a vision was born — a vision to make our community stronger, more inclusive, and more courageous. That vision became the River Hill Diversity Association. What started as an idea turned into action. What started as a few voices became a chorus for change.
Over two years, RHDA has:
(1) Hosted conferences that sparked conversations.
(2) Celebrated heritage months and honored every culture.
(3) Launched campaigns supporting marginalized communities.
(4) Built bridges, created safe spaces, and empowered new leaders.
We grew — not just in numbers, but in strength, in spirit, and in impact. Each meeting, each project, each voice made us better. It wasn't always easy. But every challenge made us tougher, and every success reminded us why we started. To every leader who stood tall, every member who showed up, every ally who believed in us — thank you. Today, RHDA is more than a club. It's a legacy — and the story is just getting started. Two years down. A lifetime of change ahead. Together, we are the River Hill Diversity Association — and we are just beginning.
