PROJECT VISION/VISION GOALS
ARTWORK BY: HERB RYMAN | ARTICLE
These pieces by Disney Theme Park concept artist Herb Ryman were my biggest inspiration for this proposal. His rich use of color and composition captured me and I'd love to use them as visual aid and goal for my environment.
PROJECT VALUE PROPOSAL
In doing this project, I would like to expand on my skills in composition and in color/lighting within a 3D scene. While these are things I usually don't struggle with in 2D visual conceptualization, I get over ambitious in 3D! I would like this to remain within scope but still utilize the tools I can and have learned to create a strong and stylized portfolio piece! This will be ambitious but I hope to start on it early so I won't fall behind!
STORY AND BACKGROUND
In a small village in ancient Nigeria, a young warrior, Ogun, looks back at his home one last time before setting out to the savannahs that await him. Memories flood back of all he'd be leaving behind and what he may never come back to again.
