GAME ENVIRONMENTS
My goal in making a game environment this quarter is to challenge myself in foliage, composition, building structure, and experimenting with visual style. Since I'm fairly new to 3D modeling, I would like to push myself!
A decrepit marshland home (or homes) in the depths of a southern bayou.
Games like South of Midnight and Resident Evil 7. Aiming for a southern gothic, uneasy yet quiet atmosphere. As if there's no one for miles beyond the swamps and unknown danger lurking behind every tree.

An overgrown treehouse in a large tree in the jungle.
Games like Far Cry or Ark. Aiming for a survivalist, wild and lost look! The people or person living in it has been there a while with hopes of escaping!
A small community in the savannahs of Africa. A bit more of a challenge but it would be a fun one!
My inspiration for this one actually came from my art history class last quarter and I found the art history and architecture of Benin and Nigeria very fascinating. I would love to research more on potentially folklore of villages in these areas to capitalize on a fantasy aspect of African history and culture.
