The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all aspects of our lives, and many events - school, work meetings, workouts, family gatherings - were moved online. This experience has had lasting consequences and has further strengthened the importance of online communication. In this project, led by Dr. Guyanne Wilson (University College London) and Prof. Robert Fuchs (University of Hamburg), we investigate how multimodality in online communication varies across World Englishes.
