March 2021-Present. Head of the Library of the Oriental Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague, Czech Republic.

Brief Position Description:  Oversees day-to-day operations of the library, cataloging and retro-cataloging of the library holdings, monitors new acquisitions, and identifies and manages special collections in more than 140 languages, supervises the library staff, and reports directly to the Director of the Oriental Institute. Also collaborates with scholars and other partner institutions to develop digital platforms and integrate emerging technologies in library services and operations. Currently acts as Open Science Coordinator and Data Steward overseeing the implementation of open science principles and manages data stewardship activities within an organization or research institution.


June 2020-Present. Consultant on Research and Publications, Office of the President Central Philippine University, Philippines

Brief Position Description:  Initiates projects to enhance research publication and research visibility, provides training on enhancing scholarly output and recommends strategies to promote publication and research. Continuously develops the digital repository of the University. Also served as the Editor-in-Chief of Scientia et Fides (2020-2023), the journal publication of the institution.

Brief Position Description:  Teaches remotely at the University Graduate School Master in Library and Information Science (MLIS) on subjects such as Global Librarianship and Research Methods in Library and Information Science. I also initiate and collaborate on research development, delivers lectures/trainings/workshops for the academic community to promote qualitative research and research data management.

Brief Description:  Assumed a comprehensive role in managing library operations, strategic planning, and overseeing services to ensure optimal support for the academic community. The duties encompassed evaluating systems, acquiring, organizing, and facilitating access to materials for the School of Law across USP library networks in Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tonga, Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu's subcenters in Tanna, Torba, and Malekula. Also served as the dedicated Liaison Librarian for the School of Law, offering specialized instructions and research support,

Brief description:  Provided expert advice, research support, and program enhancement of Reference area. Collaborated with the Graduate School of Education, taking on the role of Instruction/Information Literacy Coordinator. Also played a key role in developing the collection development policy, collection analysis initiatives, and capacity building of librarians in Kazakhstan.

Brief description:  Managed the entire Information Resource Center (IRC) operations, supervised IRC staff, coordinated and spearheaded programs within the Public Affairs, Cultural Affairs, and Ambassador offices. The function also involved collaboration with 47 networks of public and academic libraries in the Philippines.
