ABOUT ME

International Librarian, Researcher, LIS Educator, Philomath (for culture), Archivist

I am Filipina and I am currently working as the Head Librarian of the Oriental Institute (OI) of the Czech Academy of Sciences, a non-university research institute founded in 1922 under the umbrella of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Before coming to Czechia, I worked as a Senior Librarian at The University of the South Pacific-Emalus Campus, Republic of Vanuatu (2018-2019), as an Expert Manager at Nazarbayev University,  Republic of Kazakhstan (2016-2018), a Post Doctoral fellow at Kyungpook National University, South Korea (2015-2016). I also had an opportunity to serve as the  Director of  the Thomas Jefferson Information Center, the Information Resource Center of the US Embassy Manila, and the Director of the Learning Resource Center of University of Iloilo. 

In between, I teach in the Library and Information Science, conduct researches, and publish articles.
