Resumen

Los derechos humanos protegen la dignidad de las personas, los cuales a lo largo de la historia de Chile han sido violados por el Estado represivamente; frente a esto se han creado programas de reparación, en los que no se incluye a los kinesiólogos(as) dentro del equipo rehabilitador. Ante esto surge la necesidad de describir la importancia de la kinesiología en el proceso de reparación de usuarios ante violaciones de Derechos Humanos. En este artículo especial establecemos el impacto de dichos actos en las víctimas, la contribución del kinesiólogo(a) en este proceso desde una mirada integral de las distintas áreas de la disciplina, las proyecciones y desafíos de la implementación de rehabilitación con perspectiva de derechos. Se determina que el abordaje debe ser integral, junto al trabajo transdisciplinario en salud, y en adición a procesos paralelos de justicia para asegurar a las víctimas reparación real y garantías de no repetición.

Physiotherapy in reparation processes in the view of State violence due to repression

Abstract

Human rights protect the dignity of people, which throughout the history of Chile have been repressively violated by the State; in response to this, reparation programs have been created, in which physiotherapists are not included in the rehabilitation team. In view of this, the need arises to describe the importance of physiotherapy in the process of reparation of users in the face of human rights violations. In this special article we establish the impact of such acts on the victims, the contribution of the physiotherapists in this process from a comprehensive view of the different areas of the discipline, the projections and challenges of the implementation of rehabilitation with a rights perspective. It is determined that the approach must be comprehensive, together with transdisciplinary work in health, and in addition to parallel processes of justice to ensure victims real reparation and guarantees of non-repetition.
