Rev. Dr. Michelle Whitlock is a consultant, scholar, author, and liturgist specializing in intergenerational worship and practical theology. An expert in liturgy and church music, Dr. Whitlock is an ordained elder in the Susquehanna Conference of the United Methodist Church. She currently serves Beach Lake UMC church in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Dr. Whitlock is also available for congregational consults, commissioned liturgical resources, and personalized team training for worship planning.

Dr. Whitlock  holds a PhD from Garrett-Evangelical School of Theology. Her dissertation develops a practical theology for intergenerational liturgy in the United Methodist tradition. Other research interests include theology of play, theology of the child, performance theory, communities of practice, and narrative theology.
