Lunch will be provided at the workshop venue by Ek biç ye iç.
Ek Biç Ye İç is a space where we “Plant’n Harvest Eat’n Drink”. At the edge of Taksim Square in Istanbul, we grow herbs, salads, and vegetables using various urban farming methods. With in-house grown/locally sourced ingredients, we serve a soup and salad based menu. We also house a resource hub, which offers an ongoing event and workshop program on urban farming and related topics. We aim to build a community of people who are intellectually, emotionally and physically involved in making city life more sustainable.
Please let us know (email n.gulari@rgu.ac.uk) if you have any dietary requirements.
Note 2
If you would like to attend the informal social events in the evenings aiming at networking, please let us know by email (n.gulari@rgu.ac.uk).
