TRAVELLING TO ISTANBUL
The budget for travel is £600 for UK participants and £150 for Turkish participants. This includes transportation costs within the city, travelling to and from the airport, the cost of visa and medical insurance.
Please check if you need visa through https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/. Turkish Visa can be obtained online.
There are daily direct flights from London (British Airways, Turkish Airlines, Pegasus Airlines) and Edinburgh (Turkish Airlines) to Istanbul. As the venue is in the European side, Şişli, it is better to book your flights to Istanbul Atatürk Airport.
Please note that you can only book economy flights.
Once you reached Istanbul Airport, you can use airport shuttles or taxi services.
ACCOMMODATION
There is £400 subsistence budget available for both UK and Turkey based participants during their stay. (This is roughly £100 per day). This includes the cost of accommodation and meals. Please note that lunch will be provided at the workshop venue.

CLAIMING EXPENSES
The individuals will book their own fares, and post workshop they can claim back once they fill in the expense form and send their receipts. The individuals (both UK and Turkey based) will be refunded if they participate in the entire workshop.
