Go Fish
2nd Grade Program
2nd Grade Program
The 2nd Grade Program is a show that consists of choral songs and dramatic scenes. Students will learn the songs in music class, the scenes in theatre class, and make art to show in art class. All rehearsals will occur during their co-curr classes, although we ask the students to practice their songs and lines at home.
This year our second graders will create a world where dinosaurs can sing in our program Go Fish!
Our parent and family performance will be Monday, November 6th. Time will be announced closer to the performance.
Mark you calendars!
Students will audition in theatre class for different speaking roles in the show. Roles will be assigned by Mrs. Harris. Once assigned a speaking role the student will receive a script to take home and memorize their line(s). Students must be present for the parent and family performance after school in order to receive a speaking role. Mrs. Harris does her best to give every student that signs up a speaking or special role in the program. The amount of roles and size of roles all depend on how many students sign up for a speaking role in the program.
Parents are required to fill out an online permission form in order for their student to audition for a speaking role. Click the button at the top of the page to fill out the permission form.
Once you have filled out the online permission form your student will be given a couple of lines to memorize and perform for their class. You can find the audition material below.
Audition Line:
