Nobody really knows where Animate comes from or how his powers work, nobody but the program himself. Such information he keeps close to his chest, as he’s afraid that expressing his true self would cause people to look at him in an undesirable way. This fear has unfortunately left him susceptible to manipulation, as his and Brownie’s alliance is a front to make sure neither of their secrets get outed. Regardless of his history, Animate still wants to do good things and holds no real grudges against anybody in the game. His more low-tone humor tends to come out when he’s relaxed and around friends.
Brownie was never really one to have it easy, but that’s never stopped him from trying to work as hard as he physically can! Brownie’s going for the gold and he refuses to take anything else, willing to cross any line if it means getting closer to the win. Not even his familial relations are safe, and any real friendships have a 50/50 chance of simply being another play in the game. Early on, Brownie secured the coveted Immunity Idol as a backup plan in case he were ever to be voted out, and recently he had no choice but to play it to protect himself after he had turned everybody against him. While he’s safe for now, will he be able to keep his streak up?
Stretchy and ecstatic, there’s nobody else like Elastic! A caring, supportive individual who sticks by the side of those she trusts the most! She has a tendency to overreact sometimes, and an anxious part of her that she tries to keep buried, but at the end of the day she refuses to stand back and give up when faced with a rock and a hard place!
Puzzle started off the game as an enthusiastic, relatable girl who was able to laugh at anything, but has recently been witness to the game’s frequent and relentless changes, putting her friendships on the fritz and forcing her to confront what it truly means to play cutthroat games. When the weight of all that isn't on her mind, she’s generally mellow and cheery, and very quick to form bonds with others, showcasing her interest in branching out and seeing places that even she isn’t wholly familiar with.
Streetlight isn’t necessarily mean, is the first thing we have to clarify. He’s definitely a bit of a cynic, sarcasm and hard facts being one of the primary facets of his vocab, but when it comes to people he cares about, he tends to soften his words. He seems quite hard on the inside, but within his heart are a set of arms (surprise!) and the capacity to care. At least, that’s how it usually goes. Recently, Streetlight has been suffering from unprompted acts of aggression that seem to be triggered by something else…will he be able to confront this side of himself as the game’s climax draws near?
Toilet Paper is a generally inviting person regardless of situation, loyal to a fault with a fiery determination within him to stand out amongst all others! He thinks a mile a minute, observing and resolving mostly on his gut instinct, as it's the one thing that (usually) doesn’t steer him wrong. TP was originally the first contestant to be taken out of the game, but thanks to the generosity of the viewers has been given a second chance at stardom! Will he take it? And just how far will he last?
The first thing you’ll learn about Water Bottle is that he’s smart. One of Restarting Systems’ most intelligent minds, he works as hard as he possibly can to pursue the most logical, accurate conclusion. The second thing you’ll learn about Water Bottle is that he’s clever. Nothing goes unnoticed by him, and if he spots an advantage, he’ll be sure to take it. The third thing you’ll learn about Water Bottle is that he’s a coward. He’s far from a truly physical player, and more often than not takes a backseat when confronted with tense combat-like context. The fourth thing you’ll learn about him is how all three of these things come together-- his strategies and genius come in handy when coming to a conclusion during the game, but his cowardice is on full display whenever confronted with the mysterious circumstances surrounding the show. Truly, Water Bottle is a man of many words.
Dawning from another world, very little is known about Sonic the Hedgehog within the world of Restarting Systems. Through circumstances unbeknownst to the contestants, Sonic and Mouse found themselves fused together and wrongfully seen as one singular unit. The emotional breakdown within Mouse following Sonic’s sudden elimination and Puzzle’s intervention in turn re-engineered this incident by inverting the dominant being. With the help of Water Bottle, the two of them have been separated into their own bodies, with the caveat that Sonic eventually became unable to talk as a result of the damage. Now all that’s left is to return him home…
Comic Book is the definition of a uncontrolled geek, unrelenting in her passion, she’ll take whatever chance she gets to gush about her favorite fictional stories and characters, not just to her friends, but to some of Lucky Island’s most unique residents--the Pebbles, who live in a bouncy harmony behind the legendary Golden Gate. Comic Book cares about them more than she does herself, and she’ll do anything to protect them and keep them from harm’s way.
Most of the contestants acknowledge Thermos as ordinary, with a pretty standard view of the world around him and his role in it. He tries doing what he can, occasionally messing up but still being pretty well meaning. He’s particularly infamous among the rest of Team Brownie for his crush on Comic Book. Within Thermos, however, is a determination unknown by most to get through even the toughest challenges.
Dental Floss is a very simple person, having an affinity for fashion and her own personal appearance. She’s a big fan of social media, admiring and looking up to various Object Show celebs and influencers. In spite of that, she’s not an expert with technology and has an infamous history with bad selfies that she refuses to admit to in public. Her adopted brother, Tablet, contrasts her valley girl personality with a more grounded, outgoing style, and the two come together as the life of the party.
When Paper Clip woke up, he had no clear path or direction. Just fragmented memories and a vision that teased terrifying horrors. Quickly, Paper Clip took action to try and get to the bottom of this, but for every question he asked, two more would arise. Paper Clip is determined and unwavering with his beliefs, always sticking to what he understands. While this behavior comes in handy in a competitive setting, Paper Clip deliberately sets the game aside to pursue his so-called mystery. Recently, Water Bottle broke it off with Paper Clip and left him wandering, and said wandering set him on an unexpected journey of self-discovery, in more ways than one. Now, he’s returned to Lucky Island, and his path is just as unclear as it was when the show started.
Computer Mouse tries to be kind. He tries to be helpful. And he does a good job trying! But within him is a desire to accomplish anything he wants, a desire that has the potential to draw rifts between himself and those he cares about. Mouse is not necessarily one to be blunt, usually dousing his less-kind statements with a thousand asterisks. His brief stint with the power of an otherworldly speedster only made this behavior considerably worse, as the separation has brought out the more toxic side of him he tries to hide…
When looking for the easiest way to light up a party, Tablet is your go-to guy. Not only is his built-in sound system one of the best, he’s also just somebody who loves to lift people up and just have some fun every once in a while! His adopted sister, Dental Floss, contrasts him well, as the two are able to lift the mood and balance out the bad vibes! Most of the time, anyway.
