The current anchor of the Alpha Outcome, Harp Lightling is the caretaker and relay for the Other Realm, who meets the four heroes of SBA and guides them to the Dark One. Senior is a lighthearted and jokey old man, always one to look on the bright side, inspired by the behaviour of a being he once considered an older brother.
Senior’s apprentice and next in line to anchor the Alpha Outcome, Junior still has a while to go before he can fully understand the gravity of what he’s involved in, but that doesn’t mean he won’t try!
A rogue Darkling, Duncan entered the Other Realm after forming a bond with some of RS’s eliminated contestants. His journey brought him face to face with Wallet and led to an intense increase of power, one that made him fully formed and laid the path for him to eventually become a Lightling/Darkling hybrid.
Briefly sealed away, the genie Hatter is a trickster who enjoys playing mind games with anybody he crosses paths with, especially if he’s able to get a look inside—he and his Shadows feed on the memories of vulnerable individuals, and turn that energy into power.

After failing to apprehend the Shadow Killer, the cynical and jaded Detective Jelly Donut got a second chance when he inadvertently re-emerged some time later. He would succeed in his attempt, but would become the Lightling, Jod in the aftermath.

An energetic and optimistic presence, Thermostat laughs in the face of mystery, always trying to reach out a hand to his friends. Briefly possessed by the “Shadow Killer”, his soul transformed into the Lightling, Theo.

A junior photographer, Lock longed for a simple life, but found herself caught up in intense conspiracy and tragedy that left her alone. Her sorrows eventually led her to the Other Realm, where she eventually came to become more like her old self thanks to the help of both new and familiar faces.

USB is Spark City’s police chief. A fiery spirit whose number one ambition is to stomp out crime, USB took the young detective Jelly Donut under her wing after the Shadow Killer incident. In the aftermath of his return, USB has buried herself in her work, arguably to an excessive degree.

A local bartender and a friend of Jelly Donut’s, Jeff just wants to grill for God’s sake. The chaos of both Shadow Killer incidents have left him emotionally conflicted, and set on the path to leave Spark City, potentially for good…

Reeling from regret from the choice that trapped him there, Wallet uses mysterious powers that manifested following his arrival to protect anybody who arrives within the eastern side of the Other Realm. Jaded and distant, Wallet believes that true heroes rarely get happy endings.

The leader of an adventuring group alongside her friends, Bolt hoped to set sail for worlds unknown but was caught in one of Hatter’s loose portals into the Other Realm. Helping Wallet in his efforts to defend themselves from the Shadows, Bolt’s brash tone and nihilism about the group’s predicament frequently clashes with her fellow Wanderers, although there are parts of her who used to look on the bright side that shine through every now and again.

A friend of Tuna Can’s, Hammer’s normal and grounded life was uprooted when she and her friends got caught in the wave of his wish, led to believe he was dead upon arrival in the Other Realm. Despite not being a skilled fighter, Hammer is observant and one of the smartest Wanderers amongst them, complementing Bolt’s more intense energy.

A basket of confusion, Sharpener spends a lot of time primarily reacting to the circumstances around her, not helped by her size and strength making her the least useful member of the Wanderers. Getting her memories back, she’s able to find other ways to be helpful and comes to terms with a sense of imposter syndrome.

Marrow claims himself to be a hero, but at heart is a flake with a large ego who bails whenever he sees the nearest exit. His restored memories give him the opportunity to use his powers, the binding of psychic chains, for more selfless ends.

A loudmouth, Lamp positions herself as having more authority and power in everyday situations than she should arguably have access to. Her memories remind her of a cycle of mistakes she tends to fall into, and remind her to step back and let other people take the wheel.
