STEP 4: Signing your application and providing a photo.

Once you submit your application in STEP 3, it will appear as a new case under the "MY CASES" tab. It will have an EH number as well as a folder with the submission timestamp. Originally this folder is empty.

HOWEVER, within a couple of hours (up to 12-24 hours) the system will generate your "paper-like" application forms as a pdf file, as well as a receipt, and place it in your case folder. You will be notified by email that your pdf files are ready and you can view them by logging into the EnterHungary site and double clicking on the case folder. Below is an example of what you will see in your case folder.

Note that there is a message at the TO-DO LIST tab! Once you click it, this is what you will see:

To fulfill this requirement, go back to the "MY CASES" tab and download the "Application for residence permit" form. It should look like this form, but filled with your data. Do not be alarmed if it is of mixed language! 

• Print your personal generated "Application for residence permit" file (4 pages) (note that your personal application form may be of mixed language)

• Attach your passport photo on the first page where shown. Your passport photo  has to be good quality, so go to a photo booth at a major subway station and have a passport photo taken. Eg Keleti and Astoria stations have such a booth. It takes about 10 minutes to have a photo.

• SIGN under the photo, where asked, as well as the declarations on the last page - altogether FOUR signatures are needed!

• see where to put the photo and where to sign on this form 

• finally, scan and upload this new document and attach to your application on the "TO-DO LIST" page

NOW YOU ARE FINALLY DONE!!! .... with the first round and ready for your visit at the immigration office.  Orsi organizes group visits and will let you know  when you will be going. Watch out for her email!!!
