Practicing drawing and understanding form can help animators understand how bodies are shaped, how they work, and how they move. Having these understandings better allows animators to simulate every intricate detail of a movement in their animation. Practicing drawing also teaches them about the dance of colors, the importance of shades, the thickness of lines, and the importance of curves in a drawing, among other things. (Business of Animation, 2020)
It encourages the Information Communication Technology(ICT) Students to improve their drawing skills. Knowing how to draw and establish clean silhouettes can translate into animation and help them create better poses for the characters. Taking life drawing classes in addition to studying animation can be beneficial for understanding weight and anatomy.Drawing experience can also come in handy when understanding composition. Students will have opportunities to practice and learn about the best angles to view a subject from. They will also develop an eye for where to place a subject within the frame and how to use empty space in an appealing way.(PluralSight. 2014)
The Research Questionnaire that we used the determine the level of drawing skills of grade 12 ICT Animation Students, in Edges, Space ,Light and Shade, Line Relationship and their over all skills in drawing.
