Members of the RESCUE team regularly present findings at national and international conferences. These presentations showcase our ongoing commitment to improving outcomes and sharing best practice globally.
Our team successfully secured an oral presentation at the EYES 2025 Conference in Milan, Italy, presenting our work titled:
“Pilot Insights from a Multicentre Surveillance Study on the Impact of Aetiology on Outcomes in Severe Hyponatraemia.”
This milestone marks our first public contribution in this area of healthcare research. The conference provided an excellent platform to share our early findings, engage with experts in the field, and foster several productive discussions that will help shape the next phase of our work.
Our team presented a poster at ASN Kidney Week 2025 in Houston, Texas, showcasing our work titled:
“Outcomes of Hospitalised Patients with Severe Hyponatraemia: Findings from the Pilot of HypoNa-RESCUE, a multicentre observational study from the United Kingdom.”
Presenting at one of the world’s leading nephrology conferences provided an excellent platform to share our early findings, engage with international experts, and strengthen the visibility and impact of the HypoNa-RESCUE collaboration. The discussions and connections made at the event have contributed meaningfully to the next steps of our project.
Our team presented a poster at Society for Endocrinology BES 2026, showcasing our work titled:
“Outcomes of Hospitalised Patients with Severe Hyponatraemia: Findings from the Pilot of HypoNa-RESCUE, a multicentre observational study from the United Kingdom.”
Presenting at a leading international endocrinology conference provided an excellent platform to share our pilot data, engage with clinicians and researchers across the UK, and highlight the development of the HypoNa-RESCUE surveillance model. The opportunity to discuss our findings, particularly around correction strategies and clinical outcomes, helped refine key research questions and informed the next phase of our project, including plans for expanded analyses and future prospective studies.

European Congress of Endocrinology (ECE) 2026
Our team was awarded a Rapid Communication and Poster presentation at the European Congress of Endocrinology (ECE) 2026, presenting our work titled:
"Adherence to ESE and SfE Guidance in the Management of Severe Hyponatraemia: A Multicentre Audit of Real-World Practice."
This recognition marks an important milestone for the HypoNa-RESCUE programme. The conference provided an excellent opportunity to disseminate our multicentre findings, engage with leading experts in endocrinology, and receive constructive feedback that will inform the next phase of the project, including the implementation of strategies to improve the quality and safety of severe hyponatraemia management.
