The Challenge
Endocrine emergencies—such as hyponatraemia, adrenal crisis, and thyroid storm—are rare but life-threatening. They often lead to ICU admissions, prolonged hospital stays, and preventable deaths. Despite guidelines, their management is rarely audited, leaving critical gaps in understanding and improving care.
