Adult Cats
Adult cats come with many benefits. More self-sufficient than kittens, adult cats are a perfect addition to a busy lifestyle. Their personalities are already determined and they are just as affectionate and playful as kittens, minus the extra energy. Some of our adult cats are young mothers who have weaned their litters and are now ready for a second chance at life.

Skye is our gentle, lovely sweetheart of a kitty. She has the sunniest disposition and integrates admirably in any new environment. She was brought into foster care after being found on the streets in very dire straits. She immediately made herself at home by befriending all inhabitants, both two-legged and four-legged ones. We have never seen a kitty that is so at ease within seconds of being introduced to a new environment.
During her photo shoot, Skye had to take frequent breaks to say hello to all the kitties and pups who came up to sniff out the newcomer. Despite the fact that she never met any of them before, Skye greeted them all with equanimity and bright eyed candor. When she was picked up to placed on her stand, she head-butted her photographer good naturedly and complied willingly. We all fell in love with her sweet natured and gentle disposition. Her little pink nose won her some new adoring fans as well.
This incredibly sweet and pretty kitty will make some lucky household very happy!
Luigi had a lucky escape. He was actually on the euthanasia list at the local shelter. The reason: he makes odd sounds. Our rescue pulled him to save his life and to help treat him. Imagine our surprise when we discover the odd chirping sounds he makes is simply his way of purring and showing his happiness.
It took us a week to figure this out. Luigi makes the oddest purring sounds and to date, we have never heard such an odd purring sound from any other cats.
This kitty is one of the most unique in terms of personality and traits. He gets along with all other cats and dogs in the foster home. However, he doles out preferential treatment to his humans. Not everyone will get the benefit of loving purrs from Luigi, only the one that is in charge of his meals. He loves to be held like a baby (again, only by his meal maker) and he loves getting kisses on his furry little face.
This little kitty is very discerning so we hope that whoever comes to visit him will understand that he might turn his nose up at you, since most likely, you will not be carrying his food dish.
This sweet and spirited boy, was found alone in the woods, calmly sitting in the tall grass, watching people and cars pass by. Clearly, once someone’s beloved pet, he’s in excellent health and has a heart full of love to give. Energetic and playful, he enjoys catnip, chasing toys, and curling up next to you at night. Loyal and affectionate, he thrives on human companionship and would love nothing more than a forever home where he can be part of the family again. If you're looking for a friendly companion who’ll both entertain and comfort you, he’s ready to meet you.
Moon is a very young cat. We suspect he is just about 6-8 months old. He is inquisitive and playful. We would prefer he goes to a home where he can be the sole cat. He does have an exuberant tendency to chase other cats, most likely out of a desire to play "hunt and chase". So, unless you also have another young male cat that can use the running exercise, Moon would do well on his own.
Sophia was rescued from a really bad situation. She was located in a neighborhood where evil things were happening to the local stray cats. Unfortunately, Sophia had birthed two tiny kittens. Both of her babies were found deceased, apparently from foul play. This little beauty was brought into foster care to nurse her back from starvation and trauma.
In foster care, Sophia demonstrated how trusting and friendly she is, despite her horrific circumstances. She loves nothing better than to be held and caressed. She enjoys rubbing up against her foster mom's legs and happily snuggles up against a warm lap on the couch or bed.
This sweetheart of a cat actually has a black and white piebald pattern. You can see a well-placed beauty mark on her right upper lip. She is stunning and she has the sweetest little meow. We are looking for a home where she can be the only cat. If you are a first time cat owner or if you wish for an only cat companion who can fill your heart with love, please consider our sweet Sophia. We would love to give you more details about this lovebug.
Brigette is named after the famous actress Brigette Bardot for her stunning looks and alluring green eyes. This flame orange tabby is also unique as she is part of the small 25% of orange kitties that are female. Most orange tabbies are male, but our lovely Brigette is as girlie as can be.
She was rescued and is being fostered by a very loving and protective foster mom whose sole wish is to see this beauty of a kitty settled in a loving home where all her needs are taken care of and where she will be adored as she is in her foster home.
Due to a rough life from being abandoned in the streets, Brigette needs to take oral medication for stomatitis. She is recovering nicely, according to her vet but she does need a caring human who is attentive to giving her a daily dose of liquid meds. In return, she will be the most loving, gentle feline companion ever.
If you are looking for a wonderful lifelong companion with the sweetest face and most expressive eyes, come and meet our beautiful Brigette and be charmed by her engaging personality. We are selectively looking for that perfect home for this gem of a kitty.
What do you see when you look at Little Button? Do you see beyond an odd-looking black cat with a strange marking on her nose and sad, beautiful, emerald eyes?
In our rescue, we see a gentle survivor of the alley streets where cats are often discarded, abandoned or neglected. Sweet little Button was on her last breath when she was found by rescuers who was astounded at her desire to live. Despite being malnourished, unkempt and covered with blemishes, those emerald eyes blazed with determination to keep breathing. Faced with such an indomitable spirit in a broken body, rescuers carried little Button in foster care.
With influx of medication, nutritious meals and time to recovery, little Button plumped up and her fur coat grew glossy and thick again. She is now a healthy, beautiful black, urban panther with the sweetest temperament. The only remnants of her sad past lay in her scalloped ears and the blaze marking on her nose. We believe this is a survivor's badge of courage and we love the pixie charm it gives to her little furry face.
We are actively looking for a first time cat owner or a quiet home for our Little Button. She is a very peaceful, quiet little kitty with a lot of affection to give. She is very low maintenance but sweet-tempered and will easily fit into a loving household where she can spend the rest of her life being pampered by loving owners.
What is there to say about Cashmere? With such a gorgeous coat and those beguiling golden eyes, this is one stunningly beautiful kitty. Cashmere has a coat that is as soft as its namesake. Her fur coat is actually double coated. She has one of the thickest, plushiest fur coats we have seen to date.
Our lovely girl is vocal, independent and highly active. Despite her pouffiness, we have seen this girl leaped 5 ft into the air with grace and agility. Torties are highly affectionate and when they find the right owner, they will give all their devotion to that person. Cashmere requires a female owner who is well versed with the torti-tude temperament and who is willing to devote time and energy to routine brushing to keep her fur coat looking luxurious. This beauty is NOT for novice cat owners.
Our Cashmere came into the foster care with street smarts. Used to the harsh life on the street, this stunner has developed finely honed survival skills. Regardless of her model good looks, this is one clever and independent kitty. We are hoping to find Cashmere a quiet, home where she can reign supreme as the only cat. She can co-exist with other cats (as she does in foster care), but we believe this kitty will be happiest in a home where she can relax and display her charms and beauty.
She gives lots of headbutts, enjoys being a lap cat, and will lay down next to her human. She has a sweet, soft purr. In the morning, she will greet her foster mom with good morning trills and a plushy tail up when she walks through the door. Cashmere will jump up on the bathroom counters in the morning to get her morning petting.
We are selectively looking for an owner with a quiet home to offer for this lovely, gentle kitty.
BerryBelle is our lovely, jet-black, feline beauty. She is a sweetheart of a cat with a sunny disposition and a highly social nature. She is rather young and was found near a feeding colony where her friendliness earned her a coveted spot in foster care.
BerryBelle is curious by nature and is very inquisitive. She likes exploring and she also loves lounging with her humans. She especially enjoys being around her humans and will follow her caregivers around the house. She likes to chat so you can expect a bit of conversation.
This diminutive kitty is especially protective of kittens and will turn into a roaring panther if there are kittens around to be protected. There is definitely a guardian streak in our Berry girl.
Kittens
There's nothing like playing and snuggling with little kittens. When you adopt kittens, you get to play a role in providing a life where they will only ever know love, safety, and joy. We have kittens in a variety of age ranges. Some are ready for immediate adoption. The youngest kittens are ready for meet and greets and pre-adoption commitments.
Planning to adopt JUST ONE kitten? STOP! Please read this resource first about Single Kitten Syndrome before making your decision to bring one kitten to a home with no other animals. Check this article by the Seattle Area Feline Rescue.
When you are ready, please fill out an application under "Forms" on our website to meet and greet with our adorable kittens!
Our sweet, delicate little Camilla is only delicate in features. This is one top-notched living room panther with the face of an angel. Wearing her dark, seal-point mask and ear hoodies, Camilla is the epitome of the classical seal -point Siamese.
She is a sweetheart in everyway. She was found with her biological sister, Theodora, and brought into foster care when they were both nurslings. Together the two little sisters have thrived in a home full of animals where they rambunctiously play hide and seek and chase each other all over.
We hope you will consider adopting both little sisters together as they are so very charming. Camilla is too young to go into a home with no other kittens to play with. Siamese tend to get very needy and unhappy when their needs are not met and we want to make sure Camilla has the perfect playmate to accompany her on her life journey.
This is little Theodora (Tea) who came into foster care with her sister, Camilla. She was an itty-bitty little nursling when she was found and still needed to be bottled fed.
As she and her sister grew, Tea and Camilla ran rambunctiously throughout their foster home, alongside bigger feline siblings. Both girls are comfortable around dogs and they are always together in mischief and mayhem.
Tea has an adorable face with huge green eyes. She has beautiful, jet black, glossy fur that ripples and reflect the light as she moves and darts around. This is one very good-looking kitten who will become a loose-limbed, athletic panther as she gets older.
We hope you will come and meet her and her stunning sister, Camilla and see in person how adorable they are.
Junia is a feisty little cutie. Look at that perpetually snarly, little mug of a face. She is so cute in every way. Her foster mom can't help but adorn her with cute little hats just to see that grumpy expression come to life.
Junia loves to give cuddles to her foster mom, but she is one strong wrestler when it comes to roughhousing with her foster feline siblings. She loves to talk and ask for her special treats. She is particularly partial to churus. Adopt this little gremlin and make her a part of your family. She is quite charismatic in every way.
This is Concho. He is a very young kitty with a quirky, charming personality. Concho loves to explore new places, and he is particularly prone to getting into spaces which he shouldn't be. He is inquisitive and social. He gets along with other animals and is a wonderful companion to all in his foster home. He is raised around other cats and dogs and very well socialized.
Our little Stubby is a tail-less wonder. He goes around wagging his little stubble of a tail happily all day long. He has a round little tummy and a big round apple head. The lack of a tail only adds to his appeal as he hops around the house like a deranged black and white bunny. He loves to chase toys and is always inventing new ways to play kitty soccer with his balls and anything that can be rolled across the living room floor.
Poor Stubby must have been really food deprived when he was a baby because he sure loves food. He eats like there is no tomorrow. He has the cutest little chirps when he begs for more food. No wonder he has a beach belly. We love this engaging, interactive and extremely human friendly little kitten. He enjoys being picked up and cuddled and he loves getting attention from his humans. He is adorable!
If you have ever seen that adorable grey kitten in Simon's Cat cartoon, you would know why we named this one Meeps. She is just as adorable and as mischievous as her namesake. Meeps was brought into foster care at 2 days old. She stilad her umbilical cord attached and had to be bottled fed around the clock. She is a voracious drinker and thrived in foster care. Despite her large appetite, Meeps remain tiny, like a charming little toy kitty. Her other foster siblings grew bigger and bigger while little Meeps simply stayed small and compact.
We love her larger than life personality. She will vocalize her needs readily and she comes running when called for hugs and kisses. She loves being carried like a baby and enjoys have her cheeks rubbed. Her purrs are loud and rumbling. Her gorgeous amber eyes and beautiful steel blue furcoat makes her stunning. But, as she grows older, her barely-there orange spots will bloom even more. She has an "angel's kiss" on her forehead and is simply one of the sweetest kittens around.
Chugger was found as a tiny little baby with his umbilical cord still attached and with his eyes tightly shut. He had two siblings with him when they were all brought into our rescue. Chugger took immediately to the milk bottle. He LOVED being fed. He once chugged down 40 ml of milk in one feeding, where normally each feeding was supposed to be 10 ml at max. He lay there, satiated and bloated like a squishy water balloon and earned his new moniker.
We love Chugger with a passion for his gorgeous personality and his sweet little face. He has the markings of a patchwork tabby and big beautiful eyes. He happily accepts love and hugs and kisses from all humans. He is one adorable little Chugger.
This is Clawford. He was one of the three kittens found when they were just two days old. Clawford still had his umbilical cord attached and his eyes were tightly shut. He was bottled fed for quite a bit before he decided that solid food is so much better than the liquid form.
Because Clawford lost his mommy when he was so young, he still has the fake nursing reflex that he often engages in after a big meal or when he wants to sooth himself to sleep.
He is one of the most engaging little kitten. He loves to explore everything and he is super inquisitive. He comes running whenever he hears his human's voice and he loves to follow humans from room to room. He has the softest chinchilla like fur and the biggest yellow eyes. He even has a cute little inverted heart shape beauty mark on his muzzle.
He is just a lovebug and you are going to love him!
Half N' Half is a baby-faced kitty who loves to explore and develop his athletic prowess. He adores people and will come and lay on you once he’s done running everywhere. He is a beautiful white and orange boy, and is the brother of Mr. Sweet-Sweet.
Half N' Half was part of a litter of four orange/white piebald kittens. The rescue named him Half N' Half because he was literally half white and half orange in color.
This little kitten would be a wonderful addition to any home looking for an overly friendly and big-time lap warmer of a kitty.
Mr. Sweet-Sweet is like his namesake. We cannot find a more open-hearted, syrup-sweet kitten. He loves to run around the house on adventures with his brother Half N' Half. Once he is all tuckered out, he will curl up against a human for nap time. He is willing to be friends with anybody and everybody. If there is a party going on (especially with food around), Mr. Sweet-Sweets will be there to greet all guests! Often times, he will eat till he is nice and full, then flop on a human lap and sleep on his back, exposing a round, hairy belly that is begging for raspberry kisses.
He’s mostly white with lots of orange hair on his head and a few orange spots on his body. He has what we call a "piebald" pattern and is very distinctive in looks.
This is Petro. He came from a huge litter of six siblings. Unfortunately, his mother was found deceased and hungry cries from a meowing litter of neonates drew the attention of rescuers. Petro and his siblings came into foster care where they were bottle-fed and lovingly nurtured.
Losing his mother so early made little Petro more reliant on the nursing bottle. Even after he was weaned from the bottle, Petro still loves to snuggle up against a blanket and fake nurse. He is one of the gentlest and most engaging little kitten. If you happen to be knitting or crocheting and there is a ball of yarn laying around, Petro is the quintessential kitten. He chases the yarn ball and pounce about it like a textbook kitty cat. He likes being picked up and loves to be lulled to sleep on his back while laying on his human's lap.
He has a beautiful twin sister who looks identical to him and who is just as adorable. Come meet this handsome fellow and fall in love with his antics.
Some of the most lovely kittens often come out of the most dire situations. Beautiful little Champagne and her siblings were found huddling alone in a vacant lot. This lovely quartet was brought into foster care where they were bottle fed for few weeks before starting on solid food.
Champagne must have a bit of Siamese mix in her bloodline because she has the cutest little cross-eyed look on her face. She has a gentle disposition with a sweet-natured, calmness. Champagne has gorgeous color patterns. She is a classic tabby but with a golden chest color. She loves to play chase with her toys and her siblings. She often prefers to snuggle and perch on high places and watch the happenings around her. We think this little one will be a beauty when she gets older.
Leopold (aka Leo) was a tiny little sprite of a kitten, scrambling around in a paved parking lot while his mother tried to corner him and bring him back to the safety of close by bushes. Seeing as how he was about to become roadkill, a rescuer grabbed him and brought him to his mother. Unfortunately, within moments, he ran right back out to the lot, dodging cars. After a vigorous chase, Leo was snatched from danger and brought into foster care. After eating his fill of food and getting cleaned up, he proceeded to wail his little lungs out, protesting against his unfamiliar surroundings. Our intrepid rescuer had to go back out, with the intention of trapping his mother to reunite them. Unfortunately, mama kitty is too canny to catch, but the trap did yield another success: his brother, Romeow.
Reunited with his brother in foster care, Leo happily purred up a storm and that's when the fun started. Both little tom-kitties spend their days chasing each other around, playing mind games against their adoring foster parents and simply being adorable. Come meet them both and check out the level of cuteness!
Romeow was an afterthought. His rescuer saved his brother Leopold from throwing away his nine lives by darting between cars on a parking lot. Unfortunately, little Leo had a lot to say about being brought into foster alone. Another trapping session caught this big-eyed buff kitten and we knew right away they must be siblings.
A happy family reunion came into effect the minute Romeow saw Leopold. Both kittens greeted each other joyously and quickly adapted to free meals served on demand, kisses and hugs galore and soft, fluffy beds to sleep on.
Romeow is happy and playful. He is super gentle and energetic. His gentle nature makes him a favorite with all the animals in the foster home and with his human caregivers who dote on him.
Come meet him and his equally adorable brother, Leopold. They are irresistible.
Meet little Whisper and her big sister, Peanuts. Both of these cuties were found in a Walmart parking lot cat colony, scrambling for food among dangerous traffic and cars.
These little ones were from the same cohort of community cats, and we suspect they are siblings, from different litters. Peanuts is slightly older than Whisper and most likely, came from an earlier litter. She was fending for herself at the age of 3 months old. Little Whisper was barely 7 weeks old when she was also found starving and trying to make her way in the world.
Both sisters went into foster care and have been each other's companions ever since. It appears the blood ties are strong as you always find them playing together, sleeping together and having a blast being indoor cats where food is plentiful and fuzzy blankets are everywhere.
We are looking for a loving family for these two lucky sisters so they can stay together and be each other's companions till the end of their days. They are still kittens, so they need each other for high energy play and socialization.
Meet Two-Toes, the cutest little gray tabby with a personality as unique as her name. Referred to as “Tt” by her foster, Tt got her name because of the oddest-looking left paw – if you take a close look at her photos, you’ll notice this quirky feature. Unlike the common polydactyl cats, Two-Toes seems to be missing two digits on her left paw, giving it a spatula-like appearance. But don’t let that fool you! This little tabby may have an unusual foot, but it certainly doesn't slow her down. She’s a bundle of energy, always pouncing and zipping around, keeping pace with her siblings and foster mom.
With the sweet temperament of a tabby and the looks of a mini toy kitty, Two-Toes is an absolute joy. She loves to wiggle down under the covers at night, curling up close for warmth and comfort. She also likes to stay close to her human, especially during prime sleep times, both at night and in the mornings. If given the chance, she’ll happily head to the sink for a refreshing morning drink before settling in for more cuddles.
While she’s a playful, loving kitten, it’s important to note that her paw will require a little extra care and attention from time to time. This special little angel will need a family who’s ready to provide her with the occasional help she needs, ensuring her paw stays healthy and comfortable. Nonetheless, she’s full of love and is sure to bring joy to any home lucky enough to have her.
Goldie is a beautiful, vocal little kitten with an appetite for play and wrestling. He is quite an athlete and despite his small size, he loves to chase and wrestle his brother, Blondie. The two siblings love nothing better than to pal around their foster home and mad-dash around their flustered foster mom.
Goldie is very sociable. He loves to be around humans and will often climb on your back and chill there. He thrives on human touch and loves to snuggle. He has that wonderful kitten zeal for life and loves to play non-stop.
Come and meet Goldie and his equally handsome brother, Blondie. They are simply the cutest babies around.
This is cutie-pie Blondie, a sweet-natured buff kitten with white paws and white chest. He has gorgeous huge eyes that he uses with effectively to melt everyone's heart.
Blondie spends the day with his twin brother, Goldie, wrestling, chasing and of course, napping. When he is not hanging out with his rambunctious twin, you can find Blondie being carried around , all snuggled up in his foster mom's arms. He is a gentle little soul that also has a contemplative nature. During quiet moments, you can find little Blondie meditating in front of a window as the world slowly passes on by.
We would love to show Blondie and his equally adorable brother, Goldie to that perfect family. Come and check out these two sweety kitties.
Valentina came into foster care as a little 4 week old orphan. She was brought in to keep another orphan kitten company. It was a fortuitous decision because both little girl kittens became each other's companion and ruled the household with their charms and cute antics.
Valentina has the gorgeous tabby black swirls with a lighter undercoat. She is incredibly sweet and loves to snuggle during down time. She gets along great with all the cats in her foster home but she especially loves Baby Nadi, her foster sister.
Tabbies and black kittens are among the best natured and affectionate kittens in the cat world. There is no way to go wrong when adopting either a tabby or black kitten- guarantee!
While we would love for Valentina to be adopted with Baby Nadi, we are willing to let her go to a family with another young kitty to socialize with.
Meet Cinnamon, the pint-sized brown tabby with enchanting yellow eyes that sparkle like tiny suns! This playful little ball of fur loves chasing her feather toy and curling up in your lap for cozy snuggles. She spends her days frolicking with her two sisters, romping around in their foster home. She is so loving and friendly. If you reach out to her, she will turn on her back and show off her spotted belly and playfully bat at your hand gently. She is so lovable!
With her purring motor running at full speed, Cinnamon is on a mission to sprinkle joy and mischief into every corner of her forever home. Adopt this sweet bundle of warmth, and let her bring a dash of cinnamon spice to your life!
Pretty little Cinnamon is one cutie-pie.
Little Chenille was found with his siblings at a loading dock at Michaels', the craft store. With eyes tightly shut and meowing loudly for food, Chenille and his siblings immediately scooped up, brought into foster care and given names after the craft yarn section of Michael's.
As he got bigger, Chenille became very affectionate, playful, and displays high intelligence. You can find him interacting with his siblings and cajoling his foster mom for hugs and kisses. Just like all tabbies, this little kitten is inquisitive and quick to learn new tricks. When the gang is fast asleep, Chenille may decide to go off independently and explore his surroundings. He is especially fascinated with the laser pointer and is very amenable to getting food treats. You will be rewarded by loud purring when the treats appear.
Gorgeous little Flecks was found with her siblings at a loading dock at Michaels', the craft store. With eyes tightly shut and meowing loudly for food, Flecks and her siblings immediately scooped up, brought into foster care and given names after the craft yarn section of Michael's.
As Flecks got older, crawling and running led her to savor her independence with glee. She is one lovely kitten full of affection and extremely playful. The tortoiseshell pattern will only get more pronounced and as she gets older. She enjoys her food with gusto and while she's a teeny little baby right now, we suspect her big appetite might lead to a more rotund form later on.
Purrcilla came into foster care with all her siblings and her mommy, Skye. They were rescued from a life of misery off the streets when Purrcilla and her litter were only a few days old.
If you have ever seen the Disney Pinocchio, then you would have met Purrcilla's doppelganger, Figaro. If Purrcilla had been a boy, we would probably have named her such. She has the classic, clean beautiful pattern of the elegant tuxedo. Her little pink nose and expressive eyes make everyone instantly fall in love with her. She is rather vocal and for such a tiny mite, she has a lot to say. She follows her brother, Marlowe, around the house, seeking mischief and mayhem. We can't wait to show her off to the right adoptive family.
Marlowe came into foster care with all his siblings and his mommy, Skye. They were rescued from a life of misery off the streets when Marlowe and his litter were only a few days old.
This adorable looking little grey tuxedo has the sweetest white faced-mask with a rose pink nose. He is incredibly friendly and loves to explore everything around him. We named after the great detective, Philip Marlowe, because he just loves to poke his pink nose into everything. He follows humans around like a tiny puppy and is always happy to be scooped up for a kiss or two.
Oh Lord, please don't let anyone call for Wambini. This has got to be one of the sweetest, most lovable kittens in the rescue. He climbs onto your lap and snuggles you while looking at you adoringly with his huge, yellow eyes. This kitten is especially special to the foster program because he was a premie kitten and at only a few days old, we were not sure we could keep him alive, he was so tiny and fragile
Who would ever think he would blossom into the friendliest and most loving of all kitties. Must be all the hugging, holding and kissing he had while he was being bottled-fed every 2 hours.
It's ok if no one wants to meet him. We can always use a furry neck scarf and a tummy warmer in this little guy. Falling asleep next to his purring tummy is a heaven-sent blessing.
Having a hard time deciding? Additional cats/kittens are regularly added to this page- check back soon!
