Adult Cats
Adult cats come with many benefits. More self-sufficient than kittens, adult cats are a perfect addition to a busy lifestyle. Their personalities are already determined and they are just as affectionate and playful as kittens, minus the extra energy. Some of our adult cats are young mothers who have weaned their litters and are now ready for a second chance at life.
Fill out an application under "Forms" to meet and greet with one of our sweet adult cats!
Max is playful. He loves to play in boxes and he can be territorial over them. He wants his boxes all to himself. Of course, it's a bit hard to imagine any other animal being able to fit in the box with Max, but that won't stop Max from defending his box space against his housemates by spreading himself out as much as he can in the box.
Max is a catnip addict. He will roll his body all over it. By the time he is done, he looks like a walking ball of grass. Despite his massive size, Max loves to be carried around like a giant baby. His caregivers are building strong biceps from hauling Max around throughout the day. When no one is around to hug and pick him up, then Max can be found lounging by a sunny window, dreaming of great hunting exploits while he watches the squirrels dart by In the evening, or when his caregivers are gone, Max will happily be entertained by nature videos and funny cat videos on YouTube.
Max is sneaky. He will stealthily remove scraps from your plate quickly and promptly. He’s a big boy and he knows it. He believes he should rule supremely in his home and will often demonstrate a bit of tyranny in his attitude towards his caregivers, if meals are not served promptly and abundantly.
We want Max to go to a family with no small children and no dogs. Due to his enormous size and needs for constant adoration, we would rather Max be the only cat in the home so his owners can dote on him and provide him with a continuous supply of cardboard boxes so he can flatten himself in.
This handsome fellow is a charmer. He is still searching for his forever home. Due to circumstances, he has to fend for himself out in the wild, but he keeps dashing into the house of the lady who feeds him and other unfortunate souls. He is healthy, gregarious and wants nothing more than a warm, loving home with human laps to snuggle upon. He is nicknamed Boots by the little boy who comes out to feed and play with him. He is barely out of kittenhood so he will be rambunctious and very energetic.
He is available to meet and to pre-adopt. We will neuter, vaccinate and microchip him so he can go to his new home
Have you ever seen such a perfect bisect on a calico's face? Gattalina's face is so unique and she is so pretty. She has four white feet and a gorgeous orange dappled dark coat.
Aside from her good looks, Gattalina is so sweet in temperament and personality. She will happily greet all visitors with confidence and she likes all her four-legged housemates in her foster home. There is not a mean bone in her body. This is one even-tempered calico who is sure to make friends wherever she goes.
We love her gentle and social nature and would recommend this lovely girl to anyone who is a new cat owner or someone looking for a stunning feline to join their household.
Meet little Whisper - our oddball of a kitty. There is a Walmart parking lot cat colony in Plano where several feral cats are scrambling around for food among dangerous traffic and cars. Little Whisper was barely 7 weeks old when she was also found starving and trying to make her way in the world. We don't know how she managed to scrounge around for enough food to survive. Even at 7 weeks, she was a tough cookie. It took a seasoned trapper to catch this canny one.
Whisper went into foster care and have been loved and pampered ever since. However, it appears that the feral genes are strong in this one and despite all efforts to cuddle her, Whisper prefers to settle next to her caregivers but turns her cute nose up at all offers for contact or hugs. The domestic side of her loves being an indoor cat where food is plentiful and fuzzy blankets are everywhere.
We are looking for a loving family who understands the independent nature of the colony cat. Whisper enjoys a comfortable home life and believes that her beauty and grace are enough to earn her keep in snacks and high-quality food. Just like British royalty, she is appalled at any attempts to grab and cuddle her. This is a kitty that will happily lounge on your softest cushion or fluffiest blankets and slow blink her way into your heart. She leaves the door open for high hopes that the day will come when she willingly leaps into your lap and accepts it as her rightful place. But until that day comes, you just have to keep loving her and bribing her with yummy snacks. Are you that family? If yes, contact us so we can show this haughty little creature to you.
This pretty little tortoiseshell came into our rescue with the sweetest temperament. She has delicate orange sprinkles on black coloring and was named Jenee by the foster's grandkids. Jenee is easy-going and very chilled in nature. She enjoys exploring her environment and is quite happy when introduced to new people or new activities. She is relatively young, just barely out of kittenhood and it shows in her inquisitive attitude.
Jenee is fostered around young children, and she is very friendly towards humans. We are looking for that perfect family to provide her with a loving, forever home where she can bloom and be cherished.
Bean is a pretty, petite golden tabby. She weighs barely 7 lbs, which is really quite small for an adult kitty. She has the prettiest, sad green eyes and she is very well -mannered. She was rescued from the outdoor life and brought indoor where she now enjoys the comforts of her foster home. She loves being brushed and enjoys sitting in her foster mom's lap for pets. She purrs quite a lot!
This is a very genteel little lady who would love to find that quiet family environment where she can enjoys being the apple of her owner's eye. We believe this pretty kitty is just barely out of kittenhood as the vet places her a bit over a year old.
We are looking for the most loving home where she can spend the rest of her natural life being adored and pampered like the perfect creature, she is.
Meet this handsome black panther named Eddie. With his plush, dense black coat and his amber eyes, he masquerades as a miniature panther prowling the jungle. Instead, Eddie is happiest prowling an active household with lots of playmates to hang out with.
Eddie is fully vetted and is currently being fostered with other animals. He is very sweet and integrates easily into his foster home with minimal fuss and muss. He gets along with two legged and four-legged inhabitants and is a wonderful companion to all.
Eddie is FIV positive but exhibits no symptoms and is quite alert and active. He is a young handsome black kitty who is looking to charm his way into your heart.
Tigger is a very, very sweet and affectionate kitty. His foster mom says he is quite sensitive as well. It appears he understand certain words, so if you say no, he will actually listen.
Tigger only has one quirk: He cannot eat wet foods with gums (guar gum, xanthan gum etc.). For wet food, Tigger is eating Tiki cat After Dark at the moment. He’s very friendly towards other cats and people. He’s never once hissed at other cats or anyone in his foster home.
Currently he weighs 10lbs at 2 yrs old. He is a gentle giant with a beautiful, dense fur coat, reflecting light brown/orange hues with dark, striking black bands.
True to the nature of the tabby kitty, Tigger loves pets and affection so once he trusts you, he is immediately your best buddy. Unfortunately, Tigger has stomatitis and needs consistent monitoring to keep his teeth and gums clean. He just wants love and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He will get along great with any current pets in the household and is a wonderful, loving companion.
Look at this gorgeous girl!!! Lena is a stunning, delightful little dilute calico with the most impish looking face. Her delicate, pastel colors are showcased like painting strokes in the softest fur coat. Lena was saved from a harsh outdoor life and brought into foster care where she immediately starts to charm everyone she came in contact with. She has a bigger than life personality.
She loves to carry on a conversation, enjoys treats and food with gusto and attacks her scratching pad with demonic intensity. When confronted with a shredded scratcher, she looks up at her human caregiver with sparkling eyes and a prideful demeanor of a spirited hunter who just brought down a large prey.
Her favorite toys are feathered wands and scratchers, and she is most happy when she is around her humans. It's hard not to engage with such a beauty of a kitty and Lena knows it. She fully turns on the charm and will greet everyone with boundless love and enthusiasm.
We are looking for the most loving home where she can spend the rest of her natural life being adored and pampered like the perfect creature, she is.
Tuxie is one armful of a kitty. Despite his large size, this beautiful tuxedo kitty is as gentle as a bunny. He loves to explore his surroundings, and he likes to be around humans. He comes when called and he gives the loudest purrs during petting sessions.
Tuxie gets along with other animals, but as he is a gentle giant, sometimes other pets take advantage of his good nature. He is currently being fostered with other cats and a large dog. Even with so many four-legged playmates around, Tuxie prefers his two-legged companions and will happily snuggle up or follow his humans around the house.
This kitty is sweet-natured, and would be a wonderful companion for a first time cat owner or any household looking for a gentle temperament in a feline.
This is Theodora (Tea) who came into foster care as an itty-bitty little nursling when she was found and still needed to be bottled fed.
As she grew, Tea ran rambunctiously throughout her foster home, alongside bigger feline siblings. SHe is comfortable around dogs and she loves to use her running wheel.
Tea has an adorable face with huge green eyes. She has beautiful, jet black, glossy fur that ripples and reflect the light as she moves and darts around. This is one very good-looking kitty with a loose-limbed, athletic panther-ish physique. She is friendly and gets along with all animals in her foster home.
Kittens
There's nothing like playing and snuggling with little kittens. When you adopt kittens, you get to play a role in providing a life where they will only ever know love, safety, and joy. We have kittens in a variety of age ranges. Some are ready for immediate adoption. The youngest kittens are ready for meet and greets and pre-adoption commitments.
Planning to adopt JUST ONE kitten? STOP! Please read this resource first about Single Kitten Syndrome before making your decision to bring one kitten to a home with no other animals. Check this article by the Seattle Area Feline Rescue.
When you are ready, please fill out an application under "Forms" on our website to meet and greet with our adorable kittens!
Nova is a jet black cutie. She is very sweet but feisty in play and energy. She is so lovable and you can often find her tumbling around with her siblings. Despite her smaller size, this little girl can hold her own against her brothers in wrestling matches.
If you are looking for a velvety cutie, come meet Nova and her adorable siblings.
Freckles came into rescue foster care with her three little sisters. She is the only tortie kitten among the quadruplets. Freckles has the nature of the tortie, a bit sassy, a bit naughty and she knows her striking looks will capture many hearts along the way. This pretty girl loves high places and, despite her small size, will scamper up a high cat tree in the blink of an eye. She loves to survey her kingdom from above and is quite regal in her demeanor. Her gorgeous orange splashes will be even more pronounced as she gets older. During quiet time, she can often be found snuggling close to her sweet-tempered sister, Princess Buttercup.
This little kitty earned her moniker when the five-year-old grand-daughter of the rescuer took one look at her and was immediately charmed by the kitten's good looks and charming meows.
Princess Buttercup is very social and loves to interact with her human foster family . She is raised in a multi-cat household so she is well versed in manners. She loves to greet visitors at the home and she likes to mingle with all members of the household (two-legged and four-legged alike. She does not like to be alone and can often be found in the company of her human caregivers. She likes to talk and will often vocalize her thoughts and suggestions on how to improve on dinner service and menu choices.
We would love to show her to prospective loving families who can appreciate her delicate beauty and gregarious nature.
Meet Stella who is one of three tuxedo kittens that are so identical in looks that even the foster mom gets confused as to who is who.
Stella and her siblings were rescued from a narrow ledge outside where their mother deposited them after birth. They laid around outside for at least a week with no one offering to help. Thank goodness, the current foster mom could not take the heartache of knowing they might not make it outside and went to fetch them. Now, they are repaying her kindness with all kinds of mischievous behavior and eating everything in her pantry.
Stella is described as being more cautious than her rambunctious siblings. She loves to be around other animals and she is very athletic and playful.
Mollie may be the smallest of her siblings, but don’t let her dainty frame fool you. This little lady has a voice and she wants the world to hear it! She’s still learning to trust strangers, so she might take a moment to warm up. But once she does, she’ll happily curl up in your lap and chat with you while you melt in her beautiful yellow and green eyes.
Unlike her chunky-pawed brothers, Mollie is all grace and subtle charm. Her most distinctive feature? A kinked tail with a twist at the end, like a crooked little crown. It doesn’t cause her any trouble. It’s just her signature flourish.
Mollie is looking for a patient, loving home where she can continue to blossom. Consider adopting her and one of her equally adorable siblings: Chase, or Millie.
Soma is beautiful, no doubt about it. There are only two other living beings she loves in her life: her brother Castor and her human foster caregiver. She will happily follow both around and insists on staying in the same room as her caregiver. She is almost dog-like in her devotion.
While she loves her brother, Castor, with great intensity, she is disdainful of all other felines. Snuggling time is reserved for Castor and foster mommy only. All other felines : no need to approach.
Soma and her brother, Castor, are raised with other cats and a large dog in their foster home.
Our pretty little girl, ZuZu, came from a very cold, dark place. She was found abandoned in the streets in the darkness of night. Being the smart little tortie that she is, ZuZu ran right up a good Samaritan and exerted all the charms she could muster. One glance at that adorable, orange-striped face and she was immediately scooped up and brought into foster care. In foster care, among the throngs of orphaned kittens, ZuZu came upon another tortie kitten and the two became inseparable. They are like two peas in a pod and are extremely friendly towards humans and other animals. We would love to show our Zuzu to her new family so you can see what a cutie-pie she is.
This is LuLuBelle- a gorgeous tortoiseshell kitty with an angelic looking face. LuLu was raised as an orphan with a pile of kittens who adopted her as their foster sister. She has the sweetest temperament and can often be found exploring her surroundings with extra zeal. LuLu is raised around a small dog and multiple cats so she is well socialized and gentle in nature. She is inquisitive and loves being around humans. She's still quite young but we expect her gorgeous colors will bloom even more when she reaches adulthood.
Castor is hilarious. Why does he always look like he did something wrong and has been caught at it? No matter what the situation, this little chocolate black mini panther always looks shocked that someone thinks he's guilty of any misdemeanor.
He is so cute with those huge, amber-colored eyes looking up at his human caregiver. Castor is unusually patterned. He is actually a chocolate/ black tabby. He has brown chocolate stripes and an undercoat with chocolate brown fur, overlaid with black. He is incredibly beautiful.
We suspect this little guy will get away with murder if he continues to protest his innocence with those huge eyes and that baby face.
Our little Stubby is a tail-less wonder. He goes around wagging his little stubble of a tail happily all day long. He has a round little tummy and a big round apple head. The lack of a tail only adds to his appeal as he hops around the house like a deranged black and white bunny. He loves to chase toys and is always inventing new ways to play kitty soccer with his balls and anything that can be rolled across the living room floor.
Poor Stubby must have been really food deprived when he was a baby because he sure loves food. He eats like there is no tomorrow. He has the cutest little chirps when he begs for more food. No wonder he has a beach belly. We love this engaging, interactive and extremely human friendly little kitten. He enjoys being picked up and cuddled and he loves getting attention from his humans. He is adorable!
(not available)Yen is the smallest kitten in her litter, but no one would ever guess that as she is constantly on the move, running circles around her bigger siblings. She has jet black fur and what appears to be a white spot starting on her chest. She is mischievous in nature and is always scampering around to find more mischief and mayhem. We believe she will be very athletic as she gets bigger and her legs gained more muscles and strength. We often catch her climbing her cat tree and she is fearless of height. We would love to find a family that can appreciate her active and inquisitive nature. She has a very pretty sister, Rupee, who is also her playmate and available for adoption as well.
Maverick is part of a quartet of dust sprites that were found huddling under the carriage of a big truck. Luckily, a rescuer saw the pile of baby blue eyes staring out at them and retrieve this good-looking boy and his siblings. Once in foster care, Maverick shocked his foster mom by drinking his weight in milk every time. He would literally go into a milk coma and lay on his back with his giant milk belly exposed like some drunken feline god.
Aside from his enormous appetite and his good natured outlook on life, Maverick loves exploring new surroundings. He is not a shy kitty and can often be found in strange places where he shouldn't be. His zeal for exploration sometimes gets him placed in corner confinement just to give his foster mom a break from chasing him all over the house. We are looking for attentive, loving parents for this tiny little panther who can indulge his zest for eating and exploration.
Flan is a gorgeous tabbico with flecks of orange and stripes. When she poses for photos, it appears that she has caramel swirls distributed throughout her silky coat. She is part of a litter of six kittens that were lucky enough to be born in foster care. She has been raised with many other kittens and cats in her foster home. She is curious, lively and always on the move. She loves to play, wrestle and climb. Her kitten inquisitiveness knows no bounds. She has five siblings that she plays with and spends the day chasing around the house.
Chevy is part of a quartet of dust sprites that were found huddling under the carriage of a big truck. Luckily, a rescuer saw the pile of baby blue eyes staring out at them and retrieve this good-looking boy and his siblings. Chevy was the smallest kitten in the group. He was also the hardest to coax to the bottle. It seemed Chevy only wanted his mama and it took a lot of work to get him to accept his milk bottle reluctantly. Yet, despite this setback, this tiny little sootball quickly grew and became a force to reckon with. He is playful and very much into mischief making. He loves his interactive toys and will happily spend playtime chasing balls and feathered wands. He has the cutest little owl face. His green eyes are framed with round circular greyish fur, giving him an owlish spectacled look.
Bunuelo looks like a toy stuffed Tiger. We should have named him Hobbes (as in Calvin & Hobbes). He is a bright red/orange kitten with the most striking tiger markings on him. Complete with white paws and a snowy white chest, Bunuelo is just too cute for words. He has an easy-going nature and plays nicely with everyone. He loves to climb up his cat tree, so we suspect he will enjoy exploring higher areas as he gets bigger. Right now, he's just a little orange ball of fluff and adorableness.
How can you not fall in love with Churros? He is as sweet as his namesake. He loves posing for the camera and his gentle nature makes him a favorite within his foster household. He has wide-set eyes that are always studying his surroundings, and he often looks before he leaps. While he enjoys tumbling around with his siblings, you can also find Churros taking quick power naps on a soft, downy cushion. He feels as limp as a ragdoll when you pick him up and he cuddles right into you. What a lovebug!!!
Caliente is a sweetheart of a kitten. She is part of a litter of six and can often be seen tumbling and wrestling with her siblings on their tall cat trees. She loves the high perches as they give her a pouncing advantage over her siblings. She is so gentle and likes being held and cuddled. She has the inquisitive, wide-eyed look of a kitten who is about to get into mischief but knows she can get away with anything.
Wow, Cocada must have been painted by an angel because she is absolutely angelic looking in real life. She has the perfect little white stripe coming down her nose, showing off a pair of large round eyes in a snub-nosed face. She is very delicate in both looks and nature. This lovely little tuxedo enjoys exploring and often engages in climbing contests with her siblings. She is part of a litter of six and is as charming as every one of her siblings.
Semita might be small, but she has a lot of things to say about life. During her photo shoot, this tiny mite does not miss an opportunity to tell her photographer how to do her job. Rather than being a good girl and posing, Semita chases the camera and tries to beat it up with her huge furry paws. Not content with that, she also loudly vocalizes her soprano impressions. She is definitely an active little kitty with a lot of energy and sass. You can't help but fall in love with her confidence and inquisitive nature.
