By using RepLock, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
## 1. Summary
RepLock is a fitness and productivity app that helps you earn temporary access to selected apps through exercise. To provide this functionality, RepLock may process profile settings, workout progress, Screen Time configuration, camera-based body point detection, reminder settings, leaderboard information, and purchase status.
Important points:
- Camera processing is used for live exercise counting. RepLock does not require you to record, save, or upload workout videos.
- Push-up pose visualization may use Google ML Kit. Camera inputs and pose outputs stay on the device; ML Kit may send technical usage and performance metrics to Google.
- Screen Time selections are handled using Apple's Screen Time and Family Controls APIs. RepLock does not collect your messages, browsing history, or the contents of other apps.
- Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. Purchase status may be managed through RevenueCat.
- RepLock may use PostHog for first-party product analytics so we can understand app usage, improve features, and troubleshoot reliability.
- RepLock does not sell your personal information.
- RepLock does not track you across third-party apps or websites for advertising purposes.
## 2. Information We Collect
### Information You Provide
You may provide information during onboarding, settings, or App use, including:
- Name or nickname.
- Age.
- Daily screen-time target.
- Focus goal.
- Avatar or profile choices.
- Game mode, language, access mode, and other preferences.
- Routine reminder settings.
- Leaderboard username, if you choose to use leaderboard features.
- Support messages you send by email.
Please do not send sensitive health, payment card, password, or government identification information when contacting support.
### Workout and Progress Information
RepLock may collect or generate app activity information, including:
- Exercise type.
- Repetition count or hold duration.
- Earned unlock minutes.
- XP, levels, ranks, streaks, challenge completion, boss or journey progress.
- Unlock session start and end times.
- Borrowed or emergency unlock minutes.
- Recent activity and time ledger events.
- Leaderboard scores and ranks, if you use leaderboard features.
This information is used to operate RepLock's progress, reward, blocking, and leaderboard features.
### Camera and Pose Information
RepLock may request camera permission to count exercises. During an active exercise session, the App may use on-device camera frames to detect body points such as shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles.
RepLock uses this information to estimate exercise movement and count repetitions or hold time. Based on the current App design:
- Camera access is used only while an exercise camera screen is active.
- Video frames are processed on the device for live detection.
- RepLock does not require recording or uploading workout videos.
- RepLock does not use camera data to identify you.
- RepLock stores workout results, such as exercise type, count, duration, and earned minutes, rather than camera footage.
You can disable camera access in iOS Settings. Exercise counting features may not work without camera permission.
For push-up pose visualization, RepLock may use Google ML Kit. Google states that ML Kit processes image and video input and the resulting pose output on the device and does not send that input or output to Google. ML Kit may send application and device details, per-installation identifiers, API configuration and event types, error codes, and performance metrics to Google for diagnostics and usage analytics. These metrics are not used by RepLock for advertising or cross-app tracking. See Google's [ML Kit terms and privacy information](https://developers.google.com/ml-kit/terms) and [iOS data disclosure guidance](https://developers.google.com/ml-kit/ios-data-disclosure).
### Screen Time and App Blocking Information
RepLock may request access to Apple's Screen Time and Family Controls features. These features let you select apps, app categories, or web domains that you want RepLock to block until you earn unlock time.
RepLock may process:
- Whether Screen Time permission is approved, denied, or unavailable.
- A local Apple-provided selection of apps, categories, or web domains.
- A summary count of selected apps, categories, and web domains.
- Blocking policy state, such as unlock balance, active unlock end time, and emergency access minutes.
Apple's Screen Time APIs use privacy-preserving tokens for selected apps and categories. RepLock does not receive the contents of other apps, your messages, your browsing history, or detailed device usage history through these features.
The selected Screen Time items may be stored locally on your device or in the App Group storage used by RepLock and its iOS extensions so blocking can continue to work. RepLock may sync limited policy and progress information with its backend so your reward and unlock state can work correctly.
You can revoke Screen Time access in iOS Settings.
### Notifications
RepLock may request notification permission to send optional routine reminders. If enabled, the App may store reminder settings such as whether reminders are enabled and the selected reminder time.
You can change notification permission in iOS Settings.
### Purchase and Subscription Information
If you make an in-app purchase or start a subscription, Apple processes your payment using your Apple ID. RepLock does not receive your full payment card number or Apple ID password.
RepLock may use RevenueCat to manage purchase status, subscription entitlements, product offerings, restore purchases, and paywall events. RevenueCat and Apple may process purchase identifiers, product identifiers, subscription status, transaction information, and app user identifiers needed to provide paid features.
RepLock may use the same anonymous app user identifier in RevenueCat and PostHog to connect subscription lifecycle events with in-app product analytics. This linkage is used for RepLock's own app functionality and analytics, not to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
You can manage subscriptions through Apple:
https://support.apple.com/billing
You can request refunds through Apple:
https://reportaproblem.apple.com/
### Device, Technical, and Usage Information
RepLock and the services it uses may process technical information needed to operate the App, such as:
- Anonymous app user identifier.
- Device type, operating system, app version, and platform.
- Authentication/session tokens.
- Error, diagnostic, or network information needed to keep the App working.
- Dates and times related to app events, workouts, purchases, unlock sessions, and reminders.
### Product Analytics Information
RepLock may use PostHog for first-party product analytics. Analytics helps us understand whether App features are working, where users encounter problems, and how to improve the App.
PostHog analytics may process information such as:
- Anonymous app user identifier.
- App screens or events viewed or completed.
- Button taps or feature interactions.
- App version, device type, operating system, platform, language, and approximate timestamps.
- General event properties needed to understand App performance and feature usage.
RepLock does not use PostHog to collect raw camera footage, workout videos, Apple ID passwords, payment card numbers, messages, browsing history, or the content of other apps. We also do not plan to send directly identifying information such as your email address to PostHog for analytics.
RepLock does not use PostHog session replay or screen recording unless this Privacy Policy is updated first. PostHog analytics is used for RepLock's own product improvement and is not used to track you across third-party apps or websites for advertising.

## 6. Data Retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide RepLock, maintain your progress, support purchases, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our terms.

Use the subject line **RepLock Privacy Request**. We may ask for information needed to verify and process the request. Requests may include analytics-related access or deletion questions. We cannot delete records that Apple or other providers are legally required to retain, and deleting some data may make App features unavailable.
## 8. Children and Families
RepLock is designed for a general audience and may be suitable for users aged 4 and older. Children should use RepLock only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
We do not knowingly request that children provide more information than is reasonably needed to use the App. Parents or guardians are responsible for managing device permissions, Screen Time choices, purchases, subscriptions, and exercise supervision for children using the App.
If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us at:
