The Alameda County Emergency Child Care Response Team formed at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic shortly after Governor Gavin Newsom instituted a statewide shelter in place order in March 2020. The members of the team are listed below. Since that time, the team has actively worked to ensure that child care was available for essential workers, regularly holds Child Care Check-In zoom meetings for child care providers with COVID-19 related updates, and has tracked the impact of COVID-19 on the child care industry in Alameda County.
